Jones was an explosive deep threat on offense this season, using his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs with ease. He also showed the ability to use his speed and elusiveness in the open field to break away for a big gain at any given moment. Jeremiah finished his senior year as Murray’s leading receiver with 71 receptions for 1,014 yards and eight touchdowns in 12 games. He also scored two rushing touchdowns this season and made a huge impact on defense at linebacker, finishing the year with 117 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, and one interception. Jeremiah signed with Nebraska who has him listed at receiver but he could make an impact on either side of the ball at the next level if needed.

Jones lined up in an outside linebacker role on defense this season where he was dominant off the edge as a pass rusher. He explodes out of his stance and is able to use his speed to blow by opposing offensive tackles with ease on his way to the quarterback. Jones finished the regular season as the 2A leader in sacks with 10 in 10 games. He also finished the regular season with 106 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, and one interception. Jones also finished the regular season as Murray’s leading receiver with 62 catches for 889 yards and eight touchdowns while also scoring two rushing touchdowns. Jeremiah is committed to Nebraska where I can see him developing into a key contributor once he gets there.

Jones is also a dynamic receiver on offense who uses his speed to pose as a dangerous deep threat. He is his team’s leading receiver with 29 carries for 499 yards and five touchdowns. Jones has also ran the ball six times for 43 yards and a touchdown. Jeremiah is committed to Nebraska where I can see him finding a key role once he gets there.

He was dominant on both sides of the ball in Murray’s Week 3 win over Marshall County. On offense, Jones is a constant big play threat at receiver, using his speed to pose as a deep threat then showing the speed and elusiveness in the open field to make plays after the catch. He finished Friday’s game with three receptions for 119 yards and two touchdowns. Jones also ran the ball three times for 27 yards and made an impact on defense, finishing the game with 11 tackles and an interception. Jeremiah is committed to Nebraska where I can see him becoming a key contributor once he gets there.

He had a very impressive sophomore season, finishing with 97 tackles, four tackles for loss, and five interceptions. Jones lines up at safety where he is very dangerous in pass coverage. He does a great job of reading the quarterback and route combinations on the back end of the secondary. When the ball is in the air, he has shown the ability to break on the ball with perfect timing to catch interceptions in stride, returning one for a touchdown last season. He is also very reliable against the run. Jones does a great job of reading the run quickly and filling the lane with a sense of urgency to make tackles in the open field. Jeremiah currently holds offers from Murray State and Eastern Kentucky, and I expect more to come his way as he is a true Division I caliber prospect.
