is an excellent running back for Waynesburg Central, who should only improve going forward. He has a short, compact running style. He hits the hole with a good burst and then breaks tackles well by running through arm tackles. He also shows excellent patience as he waits for the holes to open. This is especially true on gap runs where people are pulling, and Tennant maintains his patience. The sky’s the limit for Tennant, and I expect a huge season from him.

Ross Tenant is a good back man. Tennant can get going in a straight line and is patient and analytical when he’s hitting his holes. Tennant really excels in a wide zone where he can have a couple gaps to read and choose. Tennant might not be a long-score threat, but he is, without a doubt, a talented big-play threat, who can easily rip off 20-30-yard runs at a time.

is a homerun hitter every time he touches the ball. His ability to pull away with elite speed and score touchdowns is impressive. I also like the way he plays with patience. He is a patient runner who does an excellent job of making the right cut in the hole. He is a physical runner as well that runs through contact well. He also catches the ball well out of the backfield. Tennant is a talented running back who could move up this list with another strong season next year.

is the 3rd member of the Waynesburg Central 2027 class I am writing about. Tennant played as a returner, running back, and cornerback last year. As a returner and a running back, he shows good elusiveness and speed to run by defenders. As a running back he is a tough physical runner who does a nice job hitting the hole. As a cornerback, he shows good coverage skills and does a nice job making a play on the ball. Tennant is a talented athlete who can do a ton of things on the field.
