As a linebacker, he is also a playmaker by chasing plays down all over the field. To beat a good Peters Township team, Banbury will need to make plays on both sides of the ball. He is more than capable of being the difference maker, especially at linebacker, where he is a tackling machine.

is a good running back and linebacker for Upper St. Clair. As a running back, he is a physical and tough downhill runner. He shows a patient running style, and then he fires through the hole. He is tough to tackle as he runs through arm tackles. Then, as a linebacker, he is good at reading and reacting to the play and attacking downhill. He is a good linebacker who runs sideline-to-sideline, making plays. Banbury is a good prospect who should eventually get some College Football looks, he is that talented of a player.

is a good two-way player for Upper St. Clair. He plays as a linebacker and running back. As a linebacker, he has good technique, and he does a nice job of making plays against the offense. He also does a good job running sideline-to-sideline to make tackles. When he gets near the ball carrier, he can make tackles well, especially in the open field. Then, on offense, he is a good running back that is hard to tackle. He has a physical running style that punishes the defense. He also shows a good burst when he hits the hole. Banbury is a good prospect on both sides of the ball.

gets the one-slot nod because of his measurables, a trivial number, but an important difference in terms of recruiting one or the other. The Upper St. Clair backer is a stout run defender that can blitz and drop back into coverage. An athlete who can lateral step from hash to hash in a flash. A ton of TFLs recorded early, can stand up backs with multiple yards of build-up, it’s what I mean by momentum. Banbury brings a ton of force behind his pads, you meet him at the LOS, you’re going to be driven back. A natural backer with natural insticnts, you can see this reveal itself watching him take harldy any false steps off the snap. Top five backer currently.
