Got to see David early on this season and the first thing I noticed was how well the ball comes off his hand. Throws a real pretty ball! A quick, smooth release he lets it rip. His passes show a tight spiral, good velocity and strong technique. David possesses good arm strength for his frame. He can push the ball down the seam hitting receivers in stride and also throws darts to the sideline. He is an accurate passer and has good ball placement. Can put good air under the ball and hit a deep corner letting the receiver run under it. David is also a strong runner as well, will scramble for yards and extend the play. One of my favorite things about David I got a chance to speak with him back in early fall was his composure and how he approached the game. Has a high football IQ and a hard worker. Great young man who I expect a lot out of his senior season. May be a bit undersized at 5’11” but is a baller!
