Fauth hails from Cochrane High School in Alberta and has a good frame for the linebacker position at 6’2 200lbs. Fauth plays mostly outside linebacker where he utilizes a two-point stance and is asked to hold the edge. Fauth’s best skills are his ability to rush the passer and his violence at the point of attack. Fauth will put his shoulder into blockers and use fast hands to keep offensive linemen’s hands off him. As a pass rusher, Fauth uses his quickness and speed to win around the edge and shows a solid bend around the edge. Fauth has good closing speed both on the quarterback and when chasing ball carriers from behind. Fauth also showcases some reps in coverage where he excels coming downhill and making tackles in the open space. Fauth is one of my favorite Canadian prospects I have watched so far, he has quality tape and shows multiple reps that highlight each of his strengths as a player.
