Here is a look at the winning team and the rest of the standout players from the event:
PACIFICA OF OXNARD
Pacifica of Oxnard beat Tesoro and Crean Lutheran early in the day and carried that momentum to a championship.
The Tritons return junior quarterback Dominic Duran who split time last season with prospect Tagg Harrison Tagg Harrison 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Tolleson | 2025 State AZ , who has since transferred to Westlake. Duran threw for 1215 yards with 14 touchdowns as a sophomore last season.
Josh Joyner Josh Joyner 5'10" | 175 lbs | RB Pacifica - Oxnard | 2024 State CA is a star at running back for the Tritons. He has a top five of Arizona, Boston College, Colorado State, San Diego State and Washington State. Junior receiver Savion Taylor Savion Taylor 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR Pacifica | 2025 State CA returns after having 810 yards receiving with seven touchdowns last season.
Dayton Aupiu Dayton Aupiu 6'2" | 165 lbs | DB Pacifica - Oxnard | 2024 State CA is the top defensive back for Pacifica with a top five of Cal, Penn State, San Diego State, Arizona and Utah.
A big contributor for Pacifica was Isaiah Dillon Isaiah Dillon 5'11" | 175 lbs | ATH Pacifica | 2025 State CA , a junior transfer from local foe Oxnard who had eight touchdowns as a sophomore last season. Slot guy Philip Kim also played well for the Tritons.
Pacifica head coach Michael Moon said that he really enjoyed the format of the tournament and thought the competition was good. They competed in the Millikan tournament last season, but chose this tournament this season instead.
OTHER STANDOUT PERFORMERS
Capo Valley reportedly played well and had a really competitive game against San Clemente. Tight end/receiver Ryan Isenhart Ryan Isenhart 6'4" | 230 lbs | TE Capistrano Valley | 2024 State CA had three touchdown receptions. Tommy Acosta Tommy Acosta 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB Capistrano Valley | 2025 State CA played well according to reports at quarterback and Addison Walker got some run at QB as well. Cash Moorman is a running back who can make plays in the passing game and Brayden Saavedra is a sleeper at receiver.
I heard from multiple people that they were impressed by Tesoro quarterback Cash O’Byrne Cash O’Byrne 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Tesoro | 2025 CA . O’Byrne played the second half of the season for Tesoro last season and had a big game against Capo Valley. Todd Nelson will be the top receiver for Tesoro this year and Dalton Hurd is the top skill player on defense.
Laguna Beach didn’t get a lot of wins in the early rounds but Ryner Swanson Ryner Swanson 6'4" | 240 lbs | TE Laguna Beach | 2024 State CA was reportedly a matchup nightmare for multiple teams.
Corona del Mar reached the championship game and was competitive against Pacifica. Kaleb Annett is one of the top senior quarterbacks in Orange County for the Sea Kings. Russell Weir is expected to be Annett’s top target and Colin Pene Colin Pene 6'0" | 185 lbs | ATH Corona Del Mar | 2024 CA can make plays out of the backfield. Zach Giuliano Zach Giuliano 6'6" | 230 lbs | TE Corona Del Mar | 2025 State CA is a big tight end with major offers.
The host team Dana Hills features a pair of very talented receivers in Noah Kucera Noah Kucera 5'10" | 190 lbs | WR Dana Hills | 2024 State CA and Chase Berry. Deacon Hill is a quality defensive player and they have a lot of experience in the secondary.
