. His film is one of my favorite recent watches because it seems like every play is a play that not many kids can make. Whether it is showing off his elite speed while beating every defender’s pursuit angle, somehow keeping his feet through crazy tackle attempts, or picking his way through traffic until he hits the open field and is gone. Michael’s instincts with the ball in his hands are special. He offers running and receiving abilities with production to support both. The vision he plays with as well jumps off the tape as he finds blocks or lanes, or sets up defenders into bad positioning or angles. Do not sleep on Michael. Tune into the highlights.

He has the ability to get downhill in a hurry, utilizing his speed and balance. As long as he has the ball in his hands, good things happen. Dellumo was a workhorse at tailback for Maine South this past season. The 5’10, 185 lbs junior rushed for over 1,700 yards and 22 touchdowns on 128 carries in the fall. Dellumo possesses impressive straight line speed and a strong lower half that allows him to break tackles in a variety of ways. He is also extremely dangerous in the screen game, as Dellumo is incredibly difficult to tackle in the open field. As he heads into his senior campaign, keep an eye on this rising star in Dellumo.

Dellumo is a Class of 2025 running back who was nearly impossible to stop in his first varsity season last year. The 5’9, 185 lbs athlete totaled over 1,200 yards and 17 touchdowns a year ago. The first thing that jumps out on his film is speed. Dellumo can hit the edge with urgency and once he turns the corner, good luck catching him. Whether its in the run game, screen game, or passing game, Dellumo is a home run hitter every time he touches the ball. It’ll be tough to have a better season than Dellumo did last year, but it would not be surprising if he reached the 20 touchdown mark in his junior year. If he’s going to reach that mark, it all starts on Friday against Brother Rice.
