Over the weekend I had the pleasure of working the PRZ Propsect Tour stop in Pennsylvania as nearly 200 hundred of Pensnylvania's best made their way to Manheim. It was an impressive turnout for the Prospect Tour on both numbers and the talent level that was there.

I mostly spent my time watching the defensive line and quarterbacks while also getting a few glimpses of the running backs as well.

I'll have other notes and thoughts later this week with a focus on combine testing.

Quarterbacks:

2024 [player_tooltip player_id='142832' first='Jack' last='Riffle'] - Fleetwood: Riffle is someone who has nice size at 6-foot-1 and 170-pounds but also has always tested very well with 40-yard dash times in the 4.8s. Has quality arm strength and good accuracy. Shows the ability to make throws on the run as well. I believe Jack has the potential to have a productive career at the next level. Definite D2 potential here.

2026 [player_tooltip player_id='648151' first='Jaden' last='Shedlock'] - Crestwood: Be on the lookout for this 2026 quarterback - already has nice size and a good frame at 5-foot-11 and 178.4 pounds. He also is a phenomenal athlete with a 4.44 forty-yard dash on his first run, his second was clocked around 4.55 - but either way, we're talking about the game-changing speed at the quarterback position. Still a bit raw as a passer but that is also the product of playing an option-based system.

Running Backs:

2026 [player_tooltip player_id='209185' first='Marquez' last='Wimberly'] - Nazareth: Wimberly is still by far one of the best running backs in the state and he's going to be a problem for opposing defenses this upcoming season. Very excited to see the steps he takes this upcoming fall.

2025 Christian Joy - Mechanicsburg: Joy is a bit undersized but he proved to be a nice fundamental running back over the weekend and posted some strong testing numbers as well. He's a bit higher on my radar now and will be watching him closely this upcoming fall.

Wide Receiver / Tight Ends / Offensive Line

[player_tooltip player_id='1156407' first='Vic' last='Castillo'] will be hitting the wide receivers including tight ends hard this week, I'll him do the honors at the position.

Linebackers

2025 Nycere Jacobs - Jefferson

Agree with Carl Frederick in his discussion of Jacobs this weekend. Here's what he had to say.

"Coming all the way from West Virginia, this kid had already made an impression on me without even performing (I live in Virginia so I know about his commute FYI). Jacobs made the trip well worth it with an outstanding performance Saturday. You can see why schools from his home state do not want him to leave as he is a playmaker. This class of 2025 stud was really good during the one on one portion, shutting down several running backs in their passing routes. Watching this in person I came away very impressed with him, especially going up against some of the best running backs in the state. Boasting a 3.0 GPA, all the coaches on hand were impressed, expect to see his name climb up ranking charts very soon."

Notably, the 6-foot-0, 202-pound linebacker ran a 4.69 forty-yard dash as well.

Defensive Ends

2024 [player_tooltip player_id='557737' first='Michael' last='Blidi'] - Milton Hershey: Blidi was very impressive at both the defensive end and linebacker. He might be on the shorter side at just 6-foot-0 but he posted a 4.5 and 4.6 forty-yard dash time and is a well-built player. Has a nice burst to his game, shows a strong bend, and is just an all-around high-quality prospect. I think he has a good chance of being an FCS player and I wouldn't rule out FBS walk-on potential either.

2024 DE [player_tooltip player_id='558326' first='Connor' last='Adams'] - Adams has a good frame at 6-foot-2 but will need to add on some weight at just 197 pounds, That's nothing to worry about however. Good first step and burst off the line of scrimmage and shows good straight-line speed as well, posting sub 4.8 forty-yard dashes.

Defensive Tackles

2025 Christian Bryant - Milton Hershey: I already talked about Bryant once in the last few days but need to say it again. I was very impressed by Bryant as the event went on and in my opinion, was our top defensive tackle. He's got good size at 6-foot-1 and 310 pounds. His 40-yard dash time is solid and is going to improve once he gets to the next level. There's a lot of potential here, I have to dig deeper into the tape still but I was very impressed by him on Saturday.
