Rylen will certainly be a scholarship-level target that has been a regular at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine. He found himself on our 1st Team for offensive linemen and from my eyes it has to do with his growth on becoming more athletic with his bend which has seen more of his stock rise in pass-protection. He also also grown further with his length and has not lost a step of athleticism with his upper or lower body. Rylen showed off one that will be a riser in my eyes after camp season and certainly should have a plethora of offers come in this summer. Twitter

If I dished out an award for Most Improved from a returner to our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase, my first vote would be for Elkton-Lake Benton OL

. Rylen has not only grown to now 6’4, but I quickly saw the strides this young man has made with his growth of his footwork as he showed much more agile at this Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase. Rylen’s quickly developing athleticism shows off the mobility of more of a tight end than an offensive linemen, which to me gives him some position flexibility at the next level. He also has improved his hand position to give him a smoother grip on his defender and with the growth he’s made look for him to be utilized more with some angle-blocking looks. I love the next-level ceiling Rylen has and certainly is a prospect with A-grade character to improve any locker room he steps into.

Rylen is a Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase alum, that showed off some well-balanced skillsets in what I watched out of him at the NDSU prospect camp. The biggest concept I could grasp from watching Rylen work with college coaches on Saturday, is how quickly he can pick up his skillsets from listening with his high level of attention to detail as I saw Rylen connect 1v1 with a college coach and start developing his technique with his hands to a higher level and it stuck like glue with him for the rest of the camp. I also like the reactive speed Rylen has getting his hands in position. As a 2025 OL prospect, he has plenty of time to develop more elusive punch with his hands with his good pad-level he gets on tape as I already saw some stock-rising improvement up in Fargo with the physicality Rylen could show. Rylen is also a prospect that has excellent character that would be a huge asset to a next-level locker room at 6’3 230 pounds and still has plenty of frame to tack on in the coming years.
