Melvin shows some glimpses of brute strength over some opponents, he shows the skill to keep his arms locked out and keep the OL away from his body. I really like his patience and awareness off the edge, he can bat down screens and funnels play back toward center field. At 6’4 260lbs size is no issue at all, he still has 2 years to develop and is already the size of majority of the 2023 prospects. He has been making some noise this off season making a name for himself at the Polynesian Bowl, and I Am Athlete showcases, earning invites to both All-American camps.
