Meier is a RB/SS for Golden, and just earned his first D2 offer from Augustana University! Meier has great size measuring in at 6’1 180-pounds. Last season, he had 125 carries for 549 yards with 6 touchdowns, 4 receptions for 38 yards, 69 total tackles (37 solo, 32 assisted), 1 TFL, 1 FF, 1 blocked punt, with 6 kickoff returns for 155 yards. Meier displays very good athleticism due to very good acceleration, jumping, change of direction, and good speed. At the running back position, he uses his very good vision to weave effortlessly through defenses. He’ll use his smooth jump cuts to make defenders miss. As a safety, he does great in coverage. Uses his back pedal and hip fluidity to match receivers and stay stride for stride with his speed. Strong tackler using his strength and aggressiveness to wrap up ball carriers. Exciting two-way prospect.
After a great @AugieFB camp and conversations with @bond_coach & @CoachChaseKing I am excited to receive my first division 2 offer to Augustana University! Thank you for the opportunity and all of the learnings at camp. Excited to continue building this relationship!… pic.twitter.com/tAPXkY3CrV

Meier has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, change of direction, jumping, and good speed. Very good vision with very good inside and outside running. Pivots and slides through gaps with ease. As a defensive back, he has a smooth and controlled back pedal. Fluid torso to match WR breaking into their route. Very good tackler and lays the boom on the ball carriers. Keep an eye on Meier to continue going up boards this off-season.
Meier had himself a day at the showcase. 10th in 40 yard time, 6th for broad jump, and 12th for the L-drill! He has very good acceleration, jumping, change of direction, and good speed ! During the ladder drill, the coach would throw tennis balls at the DB to test their concentration. Meier excelled using his very good ball tracking and concentration paired with quick feet to succeed during the drill. In 7 on 7 drills, he continued to shine. He showed his very good man coverage staying stride for stride with the receiver. Good closing quickness and uses his lengthy arms to create pass deflections. Great job by Meier !
Meier displayed strong explosiveness and speed and was a playmaker from the defensive back group. He showed good vision during one on ones, using his quick burst to close space and disrupt passing lanes. Meier consistently arrived on time, batting passes away and staying in phase with receivers. As he prepares to hit the camp circuit this summer, he is a name that should continue gaining traction.
Meier displayed versatility and toughness, rushing for 478 yards on 113 carries. He added four rushing TDs and proved effective in the passing game, hauling seven catches for 70 yards and two scores. His dual-threat abilities make him one to watch.
Meier has the ability to make the first defender miss, showing good balance and being shifty when he gets the ball. He has good vision and can hit the hole quickly, getting to the second level and bouncing it to pick up extra yards. He has good hands and is a threat out of the backfield, being and to use his speed on the perimeter and hit explosive plays.
