Aidan Holle
About Aidan
Expert Analysis
Sam Erman | Prep Redzone Scout
Holle is starting to fill out his frame and really looking the part. He’s a smart player who seems to have a good head on his shoulders and can process a lot. He doesn’t get overwhelmed and has good basic fundamentals he comes back to. I like his ability to gain depth and keep his hands inside. He won’t get caught reaching or falling back on his heels, which is what you like to see. I certainly feel like he has Saturday potential upfront if he continues to build on where he’s at now.

Holle is a two-way starter who will enroll at Lafayette Jefferson who transferred from Twin Lakes. Strong defensive end/offensive tackle prospect. At OT he has good foot speed and quickness, can mirror rushers and stay on his feet and handle wide rushers. More recruitable position is at DT where his first-step quickness could add tremendous value. Strong prospect on both sides of the ball.

– Originally was going to write about him as a defensive lineman, but after watching his entire tape, I like him as an offensive lineman even more. Plays at a high level on both sides of the ball
– Fundamentally, there’s a lot to clean up a pass-blocker in terms of footwork and stance. He’s patient in pass set and does a great job neutralizing the rush of defensive ends, one engaged. As a run-blocker, he’s closer to cleaned up prospect. Plays with a mean streak and finishes his blocks. Plays intelligently and isn’t afraid to give defensive linemen a ride if they shoot a gap that takes them out of the play. As oppose to fighting to block them in the direction the play intended
– The top lineman coming out of a talented Roosevelt Middle School program that saw both it’s seventh and eighth grade teams win WCJC championships this past season. The eighth-grade team went 9-0 on the year and will hopefully be a much-needed shot in the arm at Twin Lakes High School come the fall. The varsity team went just 1-9 last year
