Session one focused on running backs, offensive and defensive linemen, and linebackers. A player from each position group was picked as the position MVP. Shortly after Session One ended, I tracked the four MVPs down and got some quick thoughts on the day.
What were you looking to get out of the day?

Jayden Harris Cretin Derham Hall LB 2025
“I wanted to get better at the drills for when I got to college camps. And I just wanted to get better overall.”
What did you take out of the day?
Gillman
“I had a good time, met some good buddies, and had some fun.”
Cariveau
“The coaching was really helpful. The coaches taught me a lot of footwork and what they do in college to get ready for that.”
Barron
“I could see the intensity that they brought to us. They were more intense. I think that gave me a boost of energy.”
Harris
“I hadn’t done the ‘L’ drill, so they showed me how to do that and gave me some tips on the shuttle drill. I wanted to get my times down for that.”
Why do you think you were picked as the position MVP?
Gillman
“I guess they liked what they saw. I feel like I keep a good mindset. Even if I make a mistake, I try to do the best I can.”
Cariveau
“I think I played with a bunch of aggressiveness. I have a good mentality. I stick with reps and stay in it.”
Barron
“I never gave up on a play. Even when I was down, I would get back up and try my hardest.”
Harris
“I feel like I did well in the one-on-ones.”
