I love the maturity that I saw this past weekend. The champs came to play. I saw some great talent from their squad. They don’t do a lot of taunting or celebrating. They just come to handle business.
Brenden Brown, WR
Brown is a big time playmaker that has a lot of heart. He is a big target that knows how to be a force on his team’s offense. When he goes up for the football he does not expect to lose the jump ball battle. Brown knows how to be a big target when he is playing against the zone. He has some long arms with big hands that snatch the football out of the air. I think that he needs to work on his routes. He also needs to be quicker when he releases from the line. Brown could possibly grow to be a tight end.
Aiden Wilson, WR/DB
Wilson is a very advanced young prospect. He is a nice receiver that can play any position in the secondary. He does a great job of adjusting to the football when it is in the air. I love his will to compete. If his defense is having a hard time with a receiver, he takes it upon himself to guard that guy. If the football is thrown in his vicinity he is selfish. He wants the ball all to himself no matter if he is on offense or defense. Wilson is a stone hearted cold blooded assassin on the field.
Nation Roe, DB
Roe is a very exciting defensive back to watch. I think that he will see himself grow to be a strong/rover safety. He does a good job of competing against bigger receivers. He is also nice on offense. Roe can go get the football when it is thrown in his direction. Roe has some nice hips and he is very relaxed when is playing man coverage. He isn’t out there over thinking.
Ashton Taylor Ashton Taylor 5'8" | 150 lbs | RB KY , WR
Taylor has a nice way of getting open. He also knows how to be very helpful on defense. He does not mind going across the middle to make big plays. I was very impressed with the way he was getting open. He does a good job of getting separation when running his routes. I’m going to be following his journey. It is hard to tell what position he is going to play. He looks like he could even be a running back.
Deairus Smith, QB
Smith had to calm himself down in the championship game. When he did he went out there and made some plays with his team. He knows how to be a good leader for his team. This young man puts the ball where it needs to be. I’m curious to see how he grows. He isn’t a small guy, I just would love to see how tall he gets.
