Back into North Dakota for a little 2025 preview. A lot of quality film from some Sophomores this season that should translate to an even better Junior Season. Some pretty good variety position-wise on both the offensive and defensive sides, which is always good in an article. I always like it when I can spread attention to various schools as well. Here are the Prospects in the 2025 Preview in North Dakota!

[player_tooltip player_id='720270' first='Kade' last='Pietrzak'] (OL)- West Fargo Sheyenne, Highlights

Pietrzak is starting to put together some film and it is some quality content. His size makes him stand out on the field, but his play puts him over the top. Highly explosive out his three-point stance to attack the defenders. Once he is engaged with the defender, he gets his hands in great position, gets a wide base and drives them off the line of scrimmage. I like the way he opens the gap by getting himself in position to win the leverage battle and move the defender out of the gap. Lastly, he shows a big motor by burying his guy into the turf on each run to his side.

[player_tooltip player_id='351546' first='Mason' last='Klabo'] (QB)- Fargo Davies, Highlights

Finding Klabo's Twitter profile, looks like he killed it on the hardwood this winter. After watching his football film, I see much of the same on the gridiron next season. Showing a lot of athleticism taking snaps and taking off on runs. A good burst of speed, good vision and a good level of physicality helps him rip off good chunks of yardage one play at a time. The mobility also doubles over in his passing game. Escaping the pocket and keeping his eyes down the field and delivering a good pass to his receiver. Lastly, he has good arm strength and accuracy both planting and throwing, or throwing on the run.

[player_tooltip player_id='356833' first='Boston' last='Bischke'] (RB/LB)- Bismarck Legacy, Highlights

Bischke plays some old-school, smash-mouth football. Offensively, he can play both Fullback and Running-back and play them both well. At FB, he is an extremely physical lead blocker. The first wrong colored jersey in the gap gets blasted into the turf. Taking handoffs, he shows patience in letting the blocks develop, then accelerating through the gap. Physicality still playing big running through tackles and re-accelerating after contact. On the defensive side, his speed and physicality get him to the ball and making tackles constantly. Muscling through blockers, wrapping up the ballcarrier and violently bringing them down.

[player_tooltip player_id='720279' first='Griffin' last='Broderick'] (RB)- Minot, Highlights

Broderick didn't have a lot of tape, but his quality overtook the quantity. Showing a lot of raw talent in the backfield, taking handoffs and making plays. A quick burst of speed after taking a handoff gets him through the line of scrimmage before the defense can adjust. Also showing a lot of strength overpowering tacklers, even when they're perfectly broken down and have him wrapped up. Adding good balance to keep his footing while stepping through arm tackles in the open field. Lastly, he takes a lot of pride in being a lead blocker. Taking good angles to the outside defender and drilling him into the turf every time.

[player_tooltip player_id='720278' first='Jack' last='Guscette'] (LB)- West Fargo, Highlights

Guscette is another one with not a lot of tape, but has really good quality of tape. At OLB, his speed gets him all over the field and close to the ballcarrier. He fills his gap quickly and takes the gap away. Showing a lot of physicality in the gap with blockers and the ballcarrier. Getting a low pad level to win the leverage battle with the blocker to shed them quickly. Once he was free, he kept the low pad level to break down and make tackles on the ballcarriers. The last thing I like about his game is the way he wraps up and brings down the ballcarrier not giving up any extra yards.

Alex Blume (QB)- Williston, Highlights

Blume showed his athleticism on tape, but also some good QB play. His frame and speed make him a big rushing threat out of the backfield. Also showing tremendous accuracy and arm strength on his deep throws. Delivering strikes at 35+ yards leading his receivers as well. He shows good mobility and poise scrambling under pressure. Escaping pressure and still delivering a good pass to his receiver, changing his arm angle if he has to. He also has a very quick release, which gets the ball out to his receivers on those quick routes. Lastly, he shows great touch on the passes to the sidelines and in the back of the end zone.

[player_tooltip player_id='321196' first='Jack' last='Shaffer'] (OL)- Bismarck, Highlights

Shaffer is a scary human-being to line up across from in the trenches. He towers over most D-linemen, but he is still pretty athletic. Using his frame to his advantage, winning the battle in the trenches constantly with good pad level and hand technique. Finishing off blocks by planting his guy into the turf and opening the gap wide. He climbs levels well. Staying low and taking the biggest threat on the given play. Same thing on screens, sells the missed block well, then climbs and locks in on his target, then buries him.
