The Rams scored on an 80-yard play as Jaxon Dailey Jaxon Dailey 6'2" | 205 lbs | QB Southeast Polk | 2022 State IA hit Isaiah Emanuel in stride and never looked back, blasting Pleasant Valley in the Class 4A semifinals, 50-10.
Southeast Polk would score twice more in the second quarter to take a commanding 21-0 lead before continuing to dominate in all areas of the game just like they have this season.
Dailey, one of the top quarterback prospects in the state, showed why, completing 11 of 17 for 202 yards with two touchdowns and adding a third score on the ground. Titus Christiansen Titus Christiansen 5'10" | 175 lbs | RB Southeast Polk | 2022 State IA , also regarded as an elite prospect, ran 18 times for 176 yards with two touchdowns.
Emanuel caught a second TD pass, finishing with five receptions for 144 yards.
There is not a throw that Dailey, a Class of 2022 prospect, cannot make. His accuracy with the deep ball is high and he has no trouble hitting receivers across the middle or in the flats.
The Ram defense was tough as well, holding Pleasant Valley to 258 yards from scrimmage and forcing four turnovers. Barrett Lindmark threw a touchdown pass to Caden Kipper, but was picked off three times.
Kipper ran for 97 yards and had 53 yards receiving on three catches.
This Southeast Polk team is as loaded as they come in 4A. Dailey, Christiansen, Emanuel and Xavier Nwankpa Xavier Nwankpa 6'3" | 190 lbs | DB Southeast Polk | 2022 State IA are all at the top of the lists of many schools around the country.
Nwankpa, who has picked up recent offers from schools such as Clemson, scored a rushing touchdown, picked off a pass and made nine tackles. His playmaking abilities are second to none and his coverage skills are a huge asset in the backend of the SEP defense.
Southeast Polk is in the championship round for the first time since 2006.
