Nelson is a good talent that flew under the radar playing eight man football at Heritage Academy. At 6’5” 205 lbs. he’s an impressive natural athlete with plus movement skills and body control. Developing as a route runner, he does take some contact and allow defenders to get into his body but always manages to create separation with the ball in the air and create a throwing lane. He’s sure handed and a natural pass catcher that can extend and time out his jumps to attack the ball at the high point and out compete opponents. Does a great job tracking the ball in the air and adjusting. Committed to Northern Colorado and is just scratching the surface of his ability.
A lot to like about Lopez’s skillset with his combination of size, athleticism, and growth potential at 6’5” 215 lbs. He’s a three sport athlete (football/basketball/baseball) that shows in coordination and body control. Proves he can be effective lining up out wide or as an inline TE with the ability to get clean releases while creating separation from either spot. Plus ball skills, he’s a confident hand catcher that doesn’t allow the ball to get into his body. Strong after the catch, he’s tough to bring down in the open field with good balance and leverage at the POA. Finished the season with 34 receptions for 540 yards and six touchdowns while racking up 58 tackles and six TFL on defense. Committed to Arizona State as a PWO on signing day.
Condie spent most of his senior year lining up at WR but projects as a TE at the college level where he can use his size (6’3” 230 lbs.) and strength to his advantage. Moves well for his size with good initial quickness out of his stance and off the LOS. Also, flashes some deceptive short area burst to break cushion and force the DB or LB to make a decision and flip his hips. Plus ball skills, he shows a good ability to play the ball in the air and haul in tough receptions in traffic. He works the middle of the field well finding soft spots in coverage, especially at the short and intermediate levels. Not afraid to go across the middle and absorb contact. Uncommitted but currently holds offers from Drake and Wisconsin-River Falls
Cannon is an underrated prospect with good size, speed, and athleticism for a college level TE. At 6’3” 225 lbs. he’s raw but the natural ability and potential are there. He can run, flashing good long speed and short area quickness to get in and out of his breaks. Creative in how he gets open, like the way he can mix up his speeds to bait a defender and then slip by coverage. Strong hands with a large catch radius that allows him to extend and make plays beyond his framework. Dangerous after the catch with his ability to run through or around contact. Shows he can lower his shoulder and overpower opponents at the contact point. Holds offers from Wisconsin-River Falls and Ottawa but deserves more recruiting attention given his talent and upside.
