Sleeper Offensive New Additions to the 2024 Rankings

For us at PrepRedzone, we try to dive deep into the state and find players that can play at the next level across all classifications. Today, we take a dive into several prospects whose recruitment is just now kicking off, or has yet to begin. Tice stands at 6'3u0022 175 and has a great build for a next level quarterback. He shows plenty of room to continue filling out over the next year as well. Mechanically, the rising senior has a smooth release with little hitch to it and can throw from a variety of arm angles. Tice shows the ability to navigate the pocket at a high level and can use his athleticism to extend plays when it collapses. With his gunslinger mentality, Tice is not afraid to air the ball out all over the field. He has a great deep ball and is not afraid to give his receivers chances to make huge explosive plays. Tice is an accurate passer at all levels of the field and throws with good timing as well. He explodes to the second level and can kick it into a second gear to get to the end zone. In the open field, this is the kind of back that can do it all. Gayten can make defenders miss with his quick twitch or simply power right through them. He has great contact balance and refuses to be brought down by arm tackles. Once he gets by, he does a great job at stacking on top of the cornerback covering him, making the quarterback's job easy. When the ball is in the air, Traylor can use his length and athleticism to go over top of defenders to make some athletic catches. On short breaking routes, the rising senior can make defenders miss with his athleticism and kick it into another gear to outrace the defense to the end zone. Randle has great size for the position and will most likely continue to add muscle over the offseason. As a pass protector, Randle has smooth feet and a nice initial punch. He does a great job at mirroring the incoming rusher and set a strong edge. With a nasty mentality that offensive line coaches love, Randle will finish every block through the whistle and leave his man in the dirt. As a run blocker, Randle can play in a variety of blocking schemes, but excels in zone blocking. He plays with great pad level and can use his natural strength to clear easy paths for the ball carrier. As a run blocker, Burk plays with good leverage and uses his hands well. He doesn't overextend and uses his strength to move defenders where they do not want to be. As a pass protector, Burk slides well and can mirror rushers movements. He does not give up a ton of ground and give his quarterback great blind side protection. Although he is a tackle right now, it is hard to not love his potential at the next level as a guard that can pull and be used all across the run game.
