Carretta committed to Pitt back in June of 2022. Carretta is a 6’5 310-pound tackle from Saint Charles Prep. Carretta is an athletic offensive tackle who excels in the blocking game. When he engages a defender, he locks on and gets good leg drive that he uses to drive the man out of the play. He has the feet and the quickness to pull from the tackle position and execute his block. When he knocks his man to the ground, he does a great job of finding someone else to block. He needs to continue to get stronger, but Carretta has a great base to work with.
