Cameron Farmer
Cameron Farmer
Cameron is an exceptional athlete who has found a way to be impactful on the defensive side of the ball. Farmer averages over 5 tackles per game but what is most impressive are his 9 sacks for the season. Cameron is not the biggest athlete but he is quick and explosive off the ball. If this dude continues to play as he did his freshmen year he will be one of the top defensive line prospects in his class come junior and senior year.
Dereon Albert Dereon Albert 6’3″ | 255 lbs | DL Jackson Academy | 2026 State MS is a dude. Although he graduates in 2026 Albert is performing as if he is in his senior year of high school. This kid stands at 6-3 275 and is a lot for opposing linemen to handle. This past season Dereon put his strength and power to good use as he consistently got into the offensive backfield to make tackles for a loss. Furthermore, Albert recorded 8 sacks for the year. This kid is certainly a defensive force and is likely to be going places after he graduates.
Therion White
Therion White
Therion White was one of the most impactful athletes on his team this year. He functioned as an anchor on the defensive line recording multiple tackles per game and 6 sacks for the season. This stat line is a testament to his potential. Furthermore, one should note that Therion has the ability to be versatile and line up in multiple positions. It is clear that if White continues to put in the work that he will certainly have great seasons come junior and senior year.
Prentiss Cork
Prentiss Cork
Prentiss was a productive athlete who played impressively throughout the season. As a freshmen Cork made multiple solo tackles, made 6 tackles for a loss in addition to his 5.5 sacks. Furthermore, Cork is known to create a positive turnover for his team as he regularly comes up with fumbles. Prentiss played a big role in his team winning 5 games this season. It will be interesting to see how he progresses throughout the years. I can forsee him winning player of the game multiple times next season.
Logan Buckley
Logan Buckley
Logan Buckley ended his season with 4.5 sacks to his name. On every defensive snap Buckely could be seen making the tackle or spilling the play to a nearby teammate. Logan is an athlete whose numbers really draw attention to himself. He finished the season with an average of 6 tackles per game and multiple tackles for losses. Although it is still early as to just how good he is all the intangibles for a top tier defender are present.
