In this article, we going to look at the prospects that are shooting up the 2026 Prep Redzone Arkansas rankings. The 2026 class has the potential to be one of the deepest and most talented classes the state of Arkansas has seen in quite some time.
Lane Michael Lay Lane Michael Lay 5'11" | 180 lbs | LB DeWitt | 2026 State AR -Linebacker-Stuttgart
Stuttgart has a talent for producing talented football players and Lay is the latest to emerge on the scene. He is a linebacker that does a great job of dropping back into coverage. Lay has the hands needed to pick off passes and take it the other direction. He is able to fend off blocks well and get to the ball carrier. Lay is a prospect that had a tremendous 2022 season and I look for that trend to continue over the next couple of seasons. Lay has the potential to play on Saturdays in the future.
Cody Taylor Cody Taylor 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL Greenwood | 2026 State AR -Offensive Line-Greenwood
One of the most impressive offensive line prospects in the state of Arkansas calls Greenwood home. Cody Taylor Cody Taylor 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL Greenwood | 2026 State AR has terrific foot speed to go along with a powerful frame. The Greenwood tackle has earned scholarship offers from Ole Miss and Kentucky and will earn more over the next few months. He has the ability to overpower opposing defensive linemen and will likely see the field for the Bulldogs this coming season. Taylor is an offensive lineman that has the potential to play on Saturdays in the future.
Braxton Lindsey-Linebacker-Rogers
The linebacker position in the class of 2026 has the potential to be a deep one in the state of Arkansas. The Rogers Mounties have a prospect in Braxton Lindsey that has the talent to play all over the field for the Mounties. Lindsey does an impressive job of fending off blocks and making the tackle. He has a nose for the football and is always around the ball carrier. Lindsey uses his speed extremely well to plug the rushing lanes and bring down the ball carrier. Lindsey is going to be a prospect to watch out for over the next couple of seasons.
Blair Ken Irvin III Blair Ken Irvin III 6'1" | 175 lbs | WR BENTONVILLE | 2026 State AR -Wide Receiver-Bentonville
Blair Ken Irvin III Blair Ken Irvin III 6'1" | 175 lbs | WR BENTONVILLE | 2026 State AR is another in a long line of Bentonville wide receivers that have the potential to play on Saturdays. He is a nightmare to bring down once he catches the ball. Ken Irvin III has that mix of speed and shiftiness that cause opposing defensive backs plenty of headaches. I am impressed by his route running. He runs crisp routes and uses his speed well to create separation from opposing defensive backs. Ken Irvin III is the type of wide receiver that is only going to improve and that is a scary thought for opposing defensive coordinators over the next few years.
Greyson Jerry Greyson Jerry 5'11" | 180 lbs | LB Fayetteville | 2026 State AR -Linebacker-Fayetteville
Greyson Jerry Greyson Jerry 5'11" | 180 lbs | LB Fayetteville | 2026 State AR is one of the most versatile prospects in the class of 2026. He has performed well on both sides of the ball over the past two season. However, we will focus on his ability at the linebacker position. He has excellent speed and uses it well when dropping back into coverage. Jerry is a disruptive player for opposing offenses to contend with. The opponent’s offensive line must account for Jerry or he will quickly turn the play into a negative one for the opposing offense. Keep an eye on Jerry he has the potential to do some big things over the next few years.
