One of the more underappreciated QBs in 6A, Bakkum is the returning signal caller for what should be one of the best teams in the state. Bakkum is a prototypical “pro-style” QB who thrives making play-action passes. He makes the right reads consistently and has great ball placement on routes across the field. His back-shoulder fade ball is fantastic, and he can rip short balls into tight windows while under pressure. He doesn’t falter with a defender in his face either. I’m excited to see what Bakkum can do during his senior season.
