At 6’2” 210 lbs. he’s a versatile defender that plays the hybrid OLB/DE spot well. Proved to be effective with his hand in the dirt or standing up in a two point. Only a freshman he dominated the 1A level with 77 tackles, 31 TFL, and 16.5 sacks. He’s got a strong build and is developing length since we first covered him as an eighth grader. Flashes great initial quickness off the LOS, he explodes out of his stance working around blockers before they can get set up. This quickness allows him to diagnose plays as they develop and make a ton of tackles at or behind the line. He chases hard and shows some short area burst to close space on the ball carrier. Knows how to use his hands to disengage from blockers. Projects as a D1 prospect.

If and when he puts it all together, this is a kid that has the potential to be playing on Saturday’s at some level. His size is on point and his raw athleticism is noticeable. Moves a little too slow-footed in terms of agility and getting back on balance once off-platform. Has the size and potential to be a difference-maker.

is a defensive lineman/athlete that impressed down at AYF Nationals for Gridiron AIGA down in Florida this past December, and he has continued to check boxes the more we watch. The Washington prospect stands around 6’2 and shows flashes of dominance with his size, strength and athletic ability. Actually getting some snaps at running back during the regular season for his middle school team, he’s one of the more athletic defensive ends at his level. With his speed and lateral change of direction, Julius grabbed our attention on the field. One of the most important attributes that stuck out to us, is that he is a sure tackler once engaged with the opposition. Once he makes contact with the ball carrier, you can almost guarantee that he will wrestle him down. When looking for a young, still-somewhat-raw defensive end that has a ton of upside in the PNW, start your search here.
