Over the past few days, we have spent time looking at some of the Class of 2024's best offensive playmakers. Continuing on, we have the wide receivers today. These are prospects that can be trusted by their quarterbacks and are capable of making plays that we will rewatch over and over again.

[player_tooltip player_id='185522' first='Braunte' last='Johnson'], 6'3, 180 pounds, Fort Wayne North Side

Leading off, we have [player_tooltip player_id='185522' first='Braunte' last='Johnson']. Johnson was a key member of a North Side team that enjoyed a resurgent season in the Summit Athletic Conference. The Legends star makes plays in all three phases. Offensively, Johnson totaled nearly 1,100 receiving yards on 69 receptions this past fall. He averaged just under 16 yards-per-catch. Per game, Johnson averaged 108.1 receiving yards. He caught 16 touchdowns and run for a score. On defense, Johnson chipped in 23 tackles. On special teams, Johnson managed to block a field goal. He has also gained experience returning kickoffs. During his junior campaign, he accumulated 117 kickoff return yards.

[player_tooltip player_id='322404' first='Mylan' last='Graham'], 6'1, 180 pounds, New Haven

Staying in the Fort Wayne-area, [player_tooltip player_id='322404' first='Mylan' last='Graham'] will be heading into 2023 with the goal of taking the next step after an outstanding junior season. Any time the Bulldogs need a big play, they have the luxury of getting the ball to Graham and letting him create something. Graham averaged nearly 24 yards-per-reception in 2022. In total, he tallied 1,149 yards on 48 receptions. He caught 13 touchdown receptions. Graham is also capable of handling punting duties. Last year, he punted a dozen times for a net total of 307 yards with one punt going inside the 20-yard line.

[player_tooltip player_id='475435' first='Donovan' last='Hamilton'], 6'4, 190 pounds, Hamilton Southeastern

Any team that needs a receiver who can frequently make tough, contested catches should look no further than Hamilton Southeastern's [player_tooltip player_id='475435' first='Donovan' last='Hamilton']. Blanket coverage is often not enough to stop Hamilton. He can find a way to come up with the catch, at times even fighting through contact. Put the ball in his vicinity and Hamilton has a great chance of coming up with the catch. Hamilton has a big catch radius allowing him to catch passes that are not right on target. A season ago, Hamilton posted 814 receiving yards on 50 catches. With ten touchdown receptions and one touchdown pass, it becomes clear to see Hamilton's playmaking ability.

[player_tooltip player_id='322461' first='Patrick' last='Clacks'], 6'1, 185 pounds, Andrean

Next up is [player_tooltip player_id='322461' first='Patrick' last='Clacks']. It is not enough to just try to stretch the defense vertically. Someone has to be able to run underneath the defense. Clacks does well on screens and running routes close to the line-of-scrimmage. When the time does come to test the defense over-the-top, Clacks is certainly capable. Clacks can make plays down the field, and he is solid coming out of the break in the route. Last season, Clacks eclipsed 1,100 receiving yards on 78 catches. He scored 14 touchdown receptions and averaged nearly 15 yards-per-catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='541846' first='NiTareon' last='Tuggle'], 6'3, 190 pounds, NorthWood

Last, but certainly not least, is NorthWood's star wideout [player_tooltip player_id='541846' first='NiTareon' last='Tuggle']. Tuggle is a multipurpose prospect who has the ability to play both ways. Offensively, he can make an impact not just as receiver, but also as a runner. As a receiver, he is a consistent target, and he consistently delivers. As a junior, Tuggle made 78 receptions for 1,138 yards. He carried the ball 17 times for 185 yards. In total, Tuggle accounted for 19 touchdowns last year: 17 receiving and two rushing. Defensively, he can make a difference at cornerback. In 2022, Tuggle recorded eight tackles, all of which were solo tackles. He snagged one interception and defended against one pass.
