About Izaiah
Expert Analysis
Tyler Graham | Prep Redzone Scout
Can’t be a Downriver standouts list without the Purdue commit. Of the clips I have seen from him, he looks exactly like the back we have known him to be. Great speed, great acceleration and elite vision. He was even able to flash some really good hands on a couple of screen plays.
-Powerful runner. Strong legs never stop through contact, consistently fighting for extra yards and punishing tacklers along the way.
-Superior vision, able to bounce it outside or find the cutback lane to the open field.
-Good hands on screens and short passes, consistently making himself a threat out of the backfield.
-Every play shows why he is a P4 caliber RB who will undoubtedly be successful at the next level.

If there was a MI High School Football video game, Izaiah would be a 99 overall.
He’s maxed out his stats. Blazing fast top speed, elite explosiveness, and some of the best contact balance I’ve ever seen. Izaiah is a threat to score each and every play from any and all areas of the field. If you want to see the best running back in Michigan, head to Carlson for a game.

Contact Balance.
This was SUPER difficult, mostly because Izaiah is so good at so many things. Though, His contact balance is amazing, which is critical for any Divison 1-level running back. Izaiah’s tape features countless examples of him bouncing off tackles and running through poor arm tackles. I watch some RBs who are fast or strong, but if you can’t keep balance, you’ll almost always go down on first contact. Balance is one of those things that’s super difficult to teach, but once you have it, it’s an insanely good asset. Izaiah is also extremely fast, explosive, and has solid vision. Pure 3-down back who excels between the tackles.

The first couple of RBs on this list shouldn’t be a surprise.
So, yeah, big shocker here- I have Izaiah graded a D1 prospect.
I’ll keep this short- Izaiah is a pure 3-down back. He can power through short-yardage situations, take tosses/screens to the house, be a threat in the receiving game, etc. I firmly believe that Izaiah will one day be an excellent RB for a Power 4 program.
