Byrd came out hot and on fire right away. He took Scottsburg up and down the field, didn’t miss throws, and did a great job finding the open guy and getting the ball to him immediately. He finished the night going 16 for 21 for 308 yards and 5 TDs as they blew out Salem. Byrd is a 3-year starter who has improved every year and looks well on his way to his best year yet completing over 66% of his passes so far.
