The big and talented LWE wide receiver is among the premier wide outs still on the board. He recently picked up a Washington offer and says he plans on making a call within the next month.

Really impressive tape from Lavista. The 6’3″ 185 pound pass catcher from Libertyville has good size and athleticism. What jumps off the tape is his ability to rack up yards after the catch. Runs with a combination of power, strength, and speed. Crisp route runner that wins off the line vs press. Downfield he tracks well and consistently makes acrobatic catches in the air. Makes catches in traffic over the middle and gets involved on gadget plays.

Caught everything thrown his way. Has good burst and acceleration off LOS, strong hands and great adjustment to the ball high/low. Very good hands, can extend and win 1v1 battles.

Blaise made the trip up from Illinois and quickly proved to be one of the best players at the WR position among a large group. The ’26 WR had me jotting down notes every time he went through a route in the WR drills. His body control/balance, quick feet, acceleration out of breaks all stood out from the loaded position. He flashed quick hands that plucked the ball out of the air. After the catch it was impressive watching him cut on a dime, drop his pad level, and explode upfield. Blaise played the position more explosive than the rest of the group. The ’26 will be a name to know down in IL.

The big-bodied wide receiver from Libertyville has incredibly impressive throughout his sophomore campaign. While he only played in 7 games, Lavista racked up over 1,100 receiving yards and scored 15 times. Standing at 6’2, Lavista is a matchup nightmare on the outside for smaller defensive backs. However, he also possesses elite speed, elusiveness in the open field, and tremendous body control. Whether its a jump ball, smooth route running, or yards after the catch, Lavista knows how to get open and make plays with the ball in his hands. Keep an eye on this rising star in the Land of Lincoln as he gets ready for his junior season.

Lavista has been impressive early on this season racking up 471 yards receiving in just 4 games. The 6’2 sophomore has also found the end-zone 6 times already. At his size and speed he is really becoming a problem for defensive backs who are tasked to cover him. He can run by most corners as well as win 50/50 balls thrown his way. He is a smooth route runner that understands how to get his separation.

LaVista is a 6’2, 190 wide receiver from Libertyville who made multiple highlight reel catches over the weekend. LaVista is only a sophomore and is already garnering interest from some of the top Division I programs in the country after beginning his young high school football career. LaVista is extremely polished for a Class of 2026 athlete, showing off his elite speed, precision route running, and perhaps his best asset, the ability to make contested catches. Perhaps these skills translate from another sport, as LaVista also excels in basketball. As the 2023 season rolls on, more highlights are on the way from this Libertyville standout.

is yet another talented freshman pass catcher from the Land of Lincoln 2026 rankings and brings a bigger body and three-sport background to the position. Rounding out the Top-20 and currently holding the title of WR4, LaVista split time between varsity and JV in 2022 and showed off impressive speed, contact balance, and a ton of juice after the catch. The Libertyville freshman was dominant and a bully against non-varsity competition, and really flexed his muscle when the ball was in his hand, especially as a returner. Would-be tacklers wanted zero parts in taking him head on, and he showed he could easily run through or over tackle attempts while also possessing the juice to cut by, take the corner, and outpace pursuit angles in effortless fashion. He also shows off a little bit of shake at the top of the route and ball skills. The ability to make tacklers miss in a variety of different ways is my favorite part of his tape, and LaVista is an obvious playmaker who is only scratching the surface of what he can do on the gridiron. What a way to round out the Top-20!
