Highlights
There was not much to cheer about on the Don Bosco side but there were some bright spots. One of those bright spots was Lomont Lester. He flashed some next-level skills at linebacker. Showing the ability to read and react at a high level, and also, the ability to shed and defeat blocks. Lester will be one of the top senior linebackers next year.
Nolan James provided the only real glimmer of hope for the Ironman, as his kick return was the closest Don Bosco came to scoring any points. Nolan James is an all-round weapon for Bosco and he provides much explosion for their offense. On a day when Bosco got blanked and barely could move the ball, James showed that next year he will be a player who will have the ball in his hands early and often.

This young man was very impressive in this game. It felt like when he was in the game Don Bosco made it a point to blitz him and bring pressure. I thought he maneuvered in the pocket well and evaded pressure all night getting the ball out on time and in rhythm. Campanile seemed to be in sync with fellow sophomore wide Quincy Porter Quincy Porter 6'4" | 195 lbs | WR Bergen Catholic | 2025 State NJ and in the first half finding him early and often. Campanile and Porter will be a deadly combo for Bergen Catholic going forward.
