The talented Senior DB had a stellar performance in the 5A State Title game scoring a defensive touchdown and flying around the field. He also had a forced fumble and was very active in run support/man coverage. He is a very under-recruited kid that could see some small college interest come his way. Rigby secured yet another state title in their 28-21 win over a tough and loaded Meridian team.
QB Luke Flowers Luke Flowers 6'1" | 170 lbs | QB Rigby | 2024 State ID , Rigby HS
Flowers is one of the top signal callers across the western region and holds one power five offer from Arizona. He went for over 300 yards and one passing TD with another on the ground against one of the top defenses in the state with multiple college caliber linebackers. Flowers is athletic in the pocket, has good mechanics and is a high IQ kid that scans the field well and can fit the ball into tight windows. It shouldn’t be long until other power five schools offer the Junior star.
RB Peter Minnaert, Bishop Kelly HS
Although the Knights lost by a couple scores to a loaded Skyline team, Minnaert kept Bishop Kelly in the game with a very productive night. He rushed for 175 yards and a score while capping off what was a terrific season for him as he was one of the better ball carriers across Idaho, regardless of class.
