Who doesn't love fantasy football!? With this list, I built a team to build a state championship around on offense, all that play 11-man football in South Dakota and are the best of the best that make The Mount Rushmore State.
THE POSITIONS
I will be taking the following on offense
2 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 2 TEs, and 2 OL.
QB2: Jacob Knuth, QB, Harrisburg (2022)
Knuth will be one of the hottest QB prospects South Dakota will ever see at the Power 5 level. At 6'4 205 pounds, Knuth not only throws a pretty perfect ball, but he's elusive on the run too. Knuth, in his first three games for the Tigers, this season already has a whopping 12 touchdowns. Northern State jumped on this kid a few weeks ago with an offer, but that will be one of many offers you will see from Knuth over the next couple of years.

QB1: Chase Mason, QB, Viborg-Hurley (2021)
Mason's season may be over with a torn ACL, but his massive arm and now four Division I offers are hard to ignore. Mason has a gigantic arm but is so powerful with his legs too, with legit mid 4s speed, which isn't bad for a 6'5 quarterback. Throws the football really well on the run. Natural throwing motion that just sometimes looks effortless. Threw for 45 touchdowns last season for the state championship from Viborg-Hurley. Two FCS and two FBS offers, including his second FBS offer from Wyoming last week. The big question is, will the offers continue? I think they will but will he get that Power 5 offer is my biggest question.
RB2: Angel Johnson, RB, Viborg-Hurley (2021)
Johnson and Buri were a toss-up for spots #2 and #3 in our 2021 rankings. Johnson is probably a better option type back than Buri, but Buri provides more of a purebred type running back that I am looking for. Johnson's downhill running ability in the passing game is what I love most about his tape. His dangerous speed on screenplays could be deadly at the college level and is why I have him on my list, as he provides a totally different option in the passing game compared to Buri's game.

RB1: Josh Buri, RB, Brookings (2021)
When I broke the transfer news on our sister site, Prep Redzone Minnesota, when Josh Buri had transferred to Brookings, I could only think of one reason why. Buri had been so eager for any sort of Division I offer and where better to play high school football than in the South Dakota State Jackrabbits' home stadium. Buri's ability to shift and put the gas pedal on the floor is what has always stood out for me from watching him pound the rock in Minnesota. It certainly didn't take him long to get started in Brookings as he's already gotten two Midco Game Balls for one of the SD's players of the week. Rushed for almost 2000 yards last year and 34 touchdowns. Buri made the right move to come to Brookings, as he gets a bump from his Minnesota ranking to the #2 ranked running back in all of the Dakotas.

WR2: Michael Paulson, WR, Sioux Falls Roosevelt (2021)
Paulson is more of the big-bodied wideout for the RoughRiders. If you need big man hands for a first down or more, Paulson would be my guy I would throw to. Paulson holds two Division I FCS offers and six from the Northern Sun.
First Four Tape
WR1: Tyler Feldkamp, WR, Sioux Falls Roosevelt (2021)
Feldkamp's take-off burst reminds me of a spaceship taking off into outer space, just blasts off the line! The versatility this kid provides is just exceptional, and the fact that he only has one Division I offer is the whole reason we launched a site in the Dakotas to show that they some solid prospects like Feldkamp. I would also use Tyler as my return man on special teams. Feldkamp is an adamant kid too that pushes some big weights in the RoughRiders' weight room also.

TE2: Reece Burckhard, TE, Aberdeen Central (2021)
Burckhard defines the two words: massive target. That's not the only thing Burckhard is, though; he also is a guy you want you're running back to get behind for a first down because you know he will pave the way. Burckhard could also be dominant on our defensive list, as this two-sport athlete can lay some wood as a defensive for the Golden Eagles. South Dakota State commit.
Jr. Tape
TE1: Tyus Hanson, TE, Sioux Falls Washington (2021)
Hanson has a little more burst in his step than Burckhard, which is why he was in the #1 TE spot for my SD fantasy football league. Hanson's range also was impressive within just a few seconds on film, which blew me away that he is just a Division II prospect. Hanson also has so much versatility going for him, playing QB snaps last year, being an active blocker on the line, and being quick enough to run with some fast DBs. Division II Lindenwood (Missouri) got a steal from Sioux Falls in this kid.
Junior Tape
OL2: Ethan Headlee, OL, Harrisburg (2021)
Headlee already has the college football offensive line body and is not a prospect you will need to tell to put on some size. Headlee is an offensive line prospect that keeps blocking and blocking, and that is not something you can coach in the trenches. Headlee, standing at 6'5 310, Headlee's stock has risen with two more Northern Sun offers coming in over the last week outside of the South Dakota. I think the Sun would be an absolutely perfect fit for Ethan's game if that Missouri Valley doesn't come in like normally would for a kid of this frame.
Tape vs. SF Roosevelt
OL1: Caden Ellingson, OL, Tea Area (2021)
Ellingson is a definite mauler from Tea Area. Ellingson provides a little more speed on the offensive line on this fantasy team. When blocking the defender, Ellingson's position is also what stood out to me and put him on this team as I feel the two running backs speed and patience match what Ellingson would provide on this offensive line. South Dakota commit.
