This year they have some guys who are off to some good starts and doing well this season. The Columbus Falcons are back in the playoffs again. That is something that we don’t often get to see. Let’s see who is doing well around the GTA.
Kahnen has been putting up some very big numbers this year. He is already over 1200 yards rushing. He is a big piece to their team. His energy is what the Greenwave feed off of. He is an aggressive runner who knows how to get behind his pads and keep the chains moving.
Braylon Burnside Braylon Burnside 6'1" | 180 lbs | ATH Starkville | 2024 State MS
Stonka Burnside has been doing a good job this season on both sides of the ball. His route running has him open for big catches and his good hips has him doing his thing in the secondary. He is a piece of the puzzle that has been keeping their team in the mix.
Hemyr Nagi
This guy has three interceptions this season and he is a big part of the Falcons being 4-1 in their division. Columbus being relevant this year is a great thing to see. They have the talent their, but just have to keep putting it together. Hemyr is a senior that deserves to chance to play college football. A nice JUCO or FCS program would love to have this guy.
Trey may not have the big numbers this season, but his leadership has helped the Yellowjackets stay afloat. He can make a lot of things happen with his feet and arm. Trey improved a lot last off-season and it has shown in many areas. He was on campus at Alabama yesterday for their game vs Miss State.
Eric Thomas
Eric Thomas has been lights out this season. He has that high motor that never stops going. He has been providing a lot of pressure from the edge of the Starkville defense this year. He is a big playmaking machine.
