Jeremiah Crystian
Jeremiah is a great physical downhill running back for the blue waves this season. It would not be innacurate to say that Jeremiah makes up the majority of his team’s offense and is head and shoulders above the rest. When runs with the football he can break tackles, make defenders miss in space and simply out run defenders trying to catch him. His speed is quite noticeable as once he gets going he is rarely caught. Since last year he has improved greatly in size speed and technique. Crystian certainly has the potential to be a steal at the running back position as he is over 1,000 for the season and averages over 100 yards per game.
Lewis Coleman
Lewis Coleman
Lewis Coleman is an aggresive safety who is constatnly getting involved in plays. He does an excellent job of alinging himself correctly, making correct reads then flying to make the tackle. This type of athelte is a tresure to have at Free Safety. He helps shut down the pass game but also aides in the running game by essentially being another linebacker. Coleman’s contribution to his team is noted as he has won defensive player of the game multiple times and will continue to do so this season. If he can continue to be productive the rest of the year and throughout the playoffs he can help give his team the best chance of winning.
Jukwon Frye
Jukwon Frye
Jukwon is a versatile athelte who can be utilized in various fashions. One of his most impactful roles is being a kick returner. Specialists rarely get much credit however Jukwon has done an excellent job of being explosive and getting his team an excellent field position this season. Frye averages nearly 40 yards per return putting his team near or at the 50 yardline greatly improving his team’s chances of scoring. This cannot be overlooked as field position is a big factor in whether a drive is successful or not. Adding Jukwon as a specialist or jack of all trades would serve many D2 or D3 teams well.
