Each quarterback listed led their squad to a victory this past weekend, and they each competed at a very high level. Now, let's take a closer look at the individual performances by each of our standout quarterbacks from week three.

2023 6'3 200 QB - Myles Slade - St. John's

St. Johns' quarterback Myles Slade played a fantastic game overall against Tottenville, and he was the focal point of the Cadet offense for the bulk of the contest. Slade achieved a QBR of 89.9 in this game and his touchdown to interception ratio was a 3:1. His dual-threat skills were also on full display, as he added 61 rushing yards and a touchdown with his legs, and he consistently avoided defenders with his elusive mobility. Myles Slade's game is scorching hot at the moment, and he's proving that he has the elite skillset necessary to succeed at the D1 level. Slade and the Cadets face Central this upcoming Saturday @1PM Eastern.

Highlights: https://t.co/tTh3I0BBd2

2025 6'4 190 QB - [player_tooltip player_id='272253' first='Malik' last='Washington'] - Archbishop Spalding

After a jaw-dropping 133.0 QBR performance, [player_tooltip player_id='272253' first='Malik' last='Washington'] was, without a doubt, the top performing DMV quarterback of the week. Washington threw five touchdowns, with only one interception, and he added 33 yards rushing on 7 carries. He managed to do all of this against a very worthy Gonzaga Purple Eagles defense that is more than equipped to defend elite quarterback play. Washington absolutely shredded Gonzaga's defense, and, as a Sophomore, he led Spalding to a whopping 41-21 victory over a WCAC powerhouse. [player_tooltip player_id='272253' first='Malik' last='Washington'] and Archbishop Spalding just shook up the DMV with an incredible victory, and all eyes should be on [player_tooltip player_id='272253' first='Malik' last='Washington'] and the Cavaliers going forward. They face their longtime MIAA rivals Calvert Hall this Friday @4 PM Eastern in, what should be, a conference game opener for the ages.

Highlights: https://twitter.com/malikw2025/status/1569820909439156224?s=20&t=fhZ5d3dhOb0fxzfY66uOtQ

2024 6'1 175 QB - [player_tooltip player_id='264047' first='Brenton' last='Toles'] III - St. Mary's Ryken

[player_tooltip player_id='264047' first='Brenton' last='Toles'] III, or BT3, played a tremendous away game against Curtis, and his performance was so dominant that his squad won by more than thirty points. Toles threw for more than 300 yards and 4 touchdowns, and he also took great care of the football. Toles' touchdown to interception ratio after four games is 9:0, therefore it's now more clear than ever that [player_tooltip player_id='264047' first='Brenton' last='Toles'] III has next level potential. His ceiling is incredibly high, and scouts everywhere must keep an eye on him the rest of his Junior season because he's playing championship football right now. [player_tooltip player_id='264047' first='Brenton' last='Toles'] III and St. Mary's Ryken travel to Good Counsel this weekend for a @7PM Eastern time game under the Friday night lights.

Highlights: https://t.co/AHARzeyrZr

2023 6'0 190 QB - [player_tooltip player_id='90649' first='Noah' last='Brannock'] - Calvert Hall

[player_tooltip player_id='90649' first='Noah' last='Brannock'] and the Calvert Hall Cardinals earned a spectacular bounce-back victory over Mt. Zion Prep Academy 21-6 on Friday, and Brannock was responsible for all three of the team's touchdowns. Brannock, the current William and Mary commit, was 16/22 for 146 yards and 3 touchdowns. He did throw an interception, but he ended the contest with a 111.0 QBR which is absolutely fantastic especially considering the int. There's no doubt that [player_tooltip player_id='90649' first='Noah' last='Brannock'] and Calvert Hall have something very special this year, and they play, arguably, their most important game of the season against Archbishop Spalding in a home opening conference game this Friday @4PM Eastern. This game means a lot for short term morale and long term for the rankings at the end of the season. Scouts nationwide better get their popcorn ready because [player_tooltip player_id='90649' first='Noah' last='Brannock'] versus [player_tooltip player_id='272253' first='Malik' last='Washington'] battling in a quarterback duel will create nothing but fireworks this Friday night. Both quarterbacks are next level talents with diverse skillsets that will both be on full display on Friday in this electric MIAA conference play opener.

Highlights: https://twitter.com/nbrannock4/status/1571003038520987651?s=20&t=fhZ5d3dhOb0fxzfY66uOtQ

2025 6'0 175 QB - [player_tooltip player_id='250315' first='Denzel' last='Gardner'] - DeMatha

If we assess all of the quarterbacks in the DMV solely on their dual-threat potential, then [player_tooltip player_id='250315' first='Denzel' last='Gardner'] would be right at the top of the list and he is only a Sophomore. Gardner led his DeMatha team to a 34-0 victory over FCA this past weekend, and Gardner rushed 6 times for 74 yards with 2 touchdowns plus 100 yards passing. With a QBR of 67.7, it certainly wasn't Gardner's greatest game throwing the football, however, he certainly made up for that with his legs and we cannot overlook the fact that he only had 12 throwing attempts as DeMatha committed to running the football early. [player_tooltip player_id='250315' first='Denzel' last='Gardner'] and the Stags play their next game at home this Friday @7PM Eastern against a very worthy Life Christian Academy (VA) team. There's no doubt that this game will be of cinematic quality, and the stars, like Gardner, will all be ready to showcase their talents against a fellow national powerhouse.

Highlights: https://twitter.com/Olivia7News/status/1571223792059285508?s=20&t=fhZ5d3dhOb0fxzfY66uOtQ

Each quarterback listed led their squad to a victory this past weekend, and they each competed at a very high level. Now, let's take a closer look at the individual performances by each of our standout quarterbacks from week three.
