There are MANY other wide receivers and tight ends who could be put on this list. I am listing the players who’s stat line stood out, who people recommended but most importantly, ONLY players who either I watched live or was able to watch highlights from their specific game. For the best chance to be featured, send me your weekly film on twitter. My handle is “@DevinRecord”, please don’t have any hard feelings if you weren’t included.
Hudson Dayton
Hudson Dayton
Hudson had a big night during Central Valley’s week 2 game against Lewis & Clark HS pulling in 5 catches for 103 yards and a touchdown. Lining up in the slot most of the night, he used his speed to evade a lot of tackles. Most of his catches included a lot of yards after the catch. His elusiveness on the field as been apparent all year and I don’t expect much to change throughout his senior year.
Noah is one of the best wide receivers in the class of 2024 in the entire state. During his week 2 game against Post Falls HS he showcased those abilities. His route running was precise and on point throughout the game. He located the ball in the air outstanding all night. He finished the game with 10 catches for 139 yards and 1 touchdown. I’ll be watching this junior closely as the season goes on.
Highlights
TraMayne Jenkins
TraMayne Jenkins
TraMayne was hard to take down during his week 2 game against Franklin Pierce HS. He used his speed and agility to evade tacklers with the ball in his hands. He racked up quite a bit of after the catch yardage. He finished the game with 6 catches for 93 yards and 2 touchdowns. The sophomore is still young in his football career, but is already having dominant outings. He’ll be fun to watch over the years.
Ben Pupplo
Ben Pupplo
Ben was BUSY during West Valley’s week 2 game against Juneau-Douglas HS (AK). He reeled in a whopping 12 passes for 165 yards on the night. He is fantastic in the open field, which is why West Valley got the ball in his hands early, letting Ben make defenders miss and go for extra yardage. Ben was on point with his route running and was able to bring in practically every throw made his way. His connection with QB Skyler Cassel Skyler Cassel 6’1″ | 185 lbs | QB West Valley | 2023 State WA seems to be a tight one, so I expect to see more big games from the 2 of them.
**Connor attends Silas HS**
Connor was extremely efficient during his week 2 game against Enumclaw HS. He lined up in the slot and all the way outside, catching 7 passes for over 100 yards and a touchdown. He was great in the open field with the ball, breaking may tackles and leading to quite a bit of yards after the catch. This Silas offense has a couple targets that can break out at any point, but don’t be surprised if you hear Connor’s name again.
