and he’s the running back we knew about coming into this year. Page had a really strong junior season last year in his first year as the full time running back in this Sandite offense. He ran for nearly 1,000 yards and 17 touchdowns on the year. And despite having McCoy splitting carries with him, Page is still the leading rusher on the team and we don’t anticipate that changing anytime soon. Page is a physical runner that certainly looks the part when you see him in person. In their win over Sapulpa, Page ran for over 160 yards and a pair of touchdowns. We still believe he’s one of the more underrated 2024 prospects in the state.

In one of the most explosive games of week zero, Sand Springs continued to own Highway 97 as they beat Sapulpa in a high-scoring affair. Just like last season, the Sandites could not be stopped on the ground and senior running back

torched the Chieftains again. Last season, he was a workhorse with nearly 40 carries. This season, he split time with another running back but still led the way with 161 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries. The Sandites as a team ran for over 300 yards on Friday night and with some strong pieces on the offensive line and two very capable backs, that will be the recipe for success this fall.

was one of the best running backs in Class 6A-2 last season. He would run for nearly 1,000 yards and 17 touchdowns on the season. We anticipate Page to take the next step and become one of the top backs in the state, regardless of class. As Webb continues to break in some new playmakers at the wide receiver position, Page is going to give the Sandite offense a reliable weapon at the running back position. Page has performed incredibly well every time we’ve seen him in person. Page continues to be one of the best backs in the state’s 2024 class and there’s a good chance that he sees his recruitment really take off this fall with another strong season in the Sand Springs backfield.

Page is a returning starter for the Sandites who plays running back and is in the class of 2024. Page racked up over 1,000 yards rushing with a total of 18 touchdowns overall. I like Page’s vision once he gets the ball in the backfield. He doesn’t rush it and is patient in letting his blocks develop. He catches the ball well out of the backfield and uses his hands, not his body. Page displays good footwork especially when there is trash once he touches the ball, he sticks his foot in the ground and gets vertical in a hurry. I think Page will have a great Senior season for the Sandites this upcoming season.

and some of the other returning offensive difference makers has Sand Springs as a serious team going into the 2023 season. Page was a touchdown machine in 2022 and found his way into the end zone 17 times on the year. We think that not only can he reach that number again this fall but he could eclipse that and become one of the best running backs in 6A-2 during the 2023 season. Page is a very impressive running back to watch for a few reasons. First off, he passes the eye test when you see him in person. Then secondly, you can’t help but be impressed with the production that he’s already had. And Sand Springs played a very tough schedule in 2022 and he still was able to produce and produce at a high level. We think that Page is definitely a prospect who could explode this fall with another strong season.

Sand Springs has had an up and down season but there is reason to be very excited about not only the playoffs but the future of Sandite football. One of those reasons is the emergence of junior running back

this season. He has been outstanding for the Sandites and while Sand Springs is breaking in a freshman at the quarterback position, Page has been able to be a steady force at the running back spot. He’s been an absolute touchdown machine and behind a young but talented offensive line, the sky is the limit moving forward. As the Sandites open the playoffs against Putnam City, Page will be a big part of the Sand Springs offensive game plan this week and moving forward.
