is the best player in the country and is easily the best player in the state of Georgia. He is college-ready and could compete for a starting job in college at certain places today. You have to imagine that NFL scouts will be drooling at the thought of having such a gifted EDGE. Jacobs will be one of the better players in college football and will represent the state of Georgia very well when it comes to the draft. Jacobs will be phenomenal at the next two levels that he reaches.

(Blessed Trinity – Class of 2027) continued his dominant run in the 2025 season as one of Georgia’s top defensive prospects. Playing linebacker/edge for the Titans, he finished the year with over 100 total tackles, around 24 tackles for loss and 16 sacks, ranking him among the state’s elite defenders and earning All-State recognition on multiple platforms. He also received All-Metro honors and has been featured as a high-level national recruit in his class. His imposing size (6-5) and production have drawn college recruiting attention, including listing among top 2027 prospects nationally; Georgia is frequently mentioned as a leader in his recruitment given in-state interest and his status as a near-top-rated recruit in the 2027 cycle.

Jacobs has grown to 6’5 228 and has already become a National recruit. He has been on the Prep Redzone radar since his middle school days when Lead Scout Alan Popadines named him has the top 7th grade prospect in Georgia. Jacobs has lived up to the expectations recording 116 tackles with 31 tackles for loss and an impressive 11 sacks. Great combination of speed, strength and athleticism will make this kid a Top 10 recruit in the 2027 class.

I first started hearing rumblings about how good of an athlete Jacobs was in the fall of 2021, but I took it with a grain of salt until I could see it myself. When I first saw him play live in June of 2022, he lived up to the hype and beyond with his ability on the field. In June 202 at the Future Stars Game in Atlanta, I watched one of the most dominant athletic performances I’ve ever seen during a practice. From locking down wide receiver’s and tight end’s in pass coverage, to making some of the country’s top offensive tackle’s look silly with his hand in the dirt rushing the edge–he was special. Nearly two years later, Jacobs is a 6-foot-4, 195-pound athletic freak and is getting set to start his freshman season at Blessed Trinity. While he’s on record saying that Georgia is his “dream school”, much in part due to the fact that his father played there, his first two offers came from the University of Arkansas and UAB this summer. Those two offers certainly won’t be his last, as Jacobs is also high on Miami and Alabama early in this process. There is also interest building from multiple Big10 and ACC schools. He has potential 5-Star written all. over. him.

Just go ahead and put a 5 star tag on this stud now. Dad played at Georgia so it makes sense why this young man is a dog! Mr. Jacobs stands at 6’5 with the athleticism, tenacity, and focus to take him wherever he wants to go in this sport. No he’s not a defensive back, however, this long armed freak doesn’t need help containing his side, because he has the ability to create his own island and extend the line of scrimmage all the way to the sideline if he wants. His first step upfield is very deliberate and calculated. Not often someone with such a high ceiling at this age knows his own potential, and is willing to push the envelope to see how good they really can be. In a few weeks we will see

Georgia – Last June I texted several coaches at big name programs that I’m close with, saying that, “I had just seen the most dominant seventh grader in the country”, when talking about Jacobs. He’s every bit of 6-foot-4, 185 pounds and growing. His dad played at Georgia in the early 2000’s. Listed as an Athlete now, but could become a future first round NFL pick at Defensive End.

showed why many consider him a likely candidate to be the #1 recruit in the state of Georgia. The 6-5 athlete has the skill set, ability, and frame to develop into a pass rushing defensive end with 1st round draft pick potential. He is long, fast, very high football IQ and aggressive. He could be a defensive end with speed to run with elite skill players. He reminds us of a Jadeveon Clowney with a work ethic and determination to be the best.

Stamped him as one of top Tight End/Athletes in the 2027 class last summer after spending a few days evaluating him and watching what he did when on both sides of the ball. When I first saw him last June at the Future Stars event in Atlanta, I was more impressed by him than I had been in a long time by a prospect. An absolute can’t-miss prospect at 6-foot-4 and 185-pounds with calf muscles as wide as his thighs. His father, whom has the same name, played for the Georgia Bulldogs.

I put out a tweet back in June, when I first saw Jacobs play during the Future Stars Game event in Atlanta. In that tweet, I said he has future D1 Tight End written all over him, but the position was, and still is, up for debate. At 6-foot-4 and 180-pounds he was as physically impressive a prospect as I’ve seen in this class. In back-to-back practice periods, I saw him moss a defender for a ball as a Tight End and then turn around and lock up one of the Georgia Future Star’s top Wide Receivers. Can literally play Defensive End, Outside Linebacker, Wide Receiver, Tight End, etc. at a different level than anyone else on the field. Also one of the nation’s top basketball prospects in the nation for the class of 2027, he comes from special bloodlines. His father, by many accounts, was destined for the NFL before a stroke during his playing days for the Bulldogs, derailed that dream. Jacobs Jr. is on his way to being one of the most elite prospects in this class. Get very familiar with this young man.
