Expert Analysis
Vic Castillo | Prep Redzone Scout
Had a chance to see him in person recently, played a phenomenal half too. Voglesong has a ways to go if we are specifically breaking down his abilities as a passer. Strides need to be made, that being said, most collegiate suitors are likely taking Voglesong’s complete skillset into account when evaluating him. I like Voglesong to linebacker, it’s where we have him ranked currently, done so prior to the season beginning. Voglesong’s connection with Connelly, his ability to create with his legs, both passing lanes and first-downs, were all instrumental in CB East’s comeback effort against North Penn. Watching him made me rethink my overall opinion on the young man, regardless on if he can play QB at the next level. No mid-season tape to look at, but other single-game cut-ups have him providing a similar role. Toss balls to Connelly and company, all the while creating what he can with his feet. I still think a school will liken his skill set to the defensive side of the football, yet adding to his repertoire only helps his stock.
