Zion Rush | Omaha Benson | QB | Class of 2025
Only a handful of high school level QBs were on hand but each had solid talent. Rush stood out the most with his throws. He showed a solid arm with good zip and accuracy on his passes. He has a solid frame for a now sophomore and looks very athletic. As he keeps developing his arm and mechanics, the Bunnies could have something hopping in the next few years with Rush.
Dupree Pleasant | Lincoln Northeast | WR | Class of 2025
Pleasant was the first one who caught Oscar and I’s eye at the camp. He is tall and has good length which can create some matchup issues for defenses. Pleasant has long strides and good speed, competing in track at LNE as well. Pleasant showed strong hands with the ability go up and get balls that some wide receivers may struggle with. Pleasant could have the Rockets on the rise in the near future.

Darion Jones | Omaha North | WR | Class of 2026
I’m going to make the call now and say that Jones will be one of the top receivers in the state by the end of his senior year. Jones glides on the field and, I believe, will have special play making abilities. He has speed and athleticism that he shows off on the track and has showman quality to him, chasing down overthrown balls and making tough catches on the sideline. Jones is one to keep on the radar and watch closely!
Wyatt Perry | Omaha Westside | WR | Class of 2026
Speaking to one of the camp coaches, they were impressed with Perry’s drive, “He never gives up on the ball!” he said. Perry showed heart, the ability to run strong routes and solid hands. Perry had a knack for the ball and always seemed to know how to position himself to make a catch, even during 1v1 coverage. Perry could be the next line of Westside receivers, similar to a Grant Guyett.

Elon Washington | Bellevue East | WR | Class of 2026
Washington was another I couldn’t take my eye off of during the camp. What I was really watching was his footwork. I was so impressed with his footwork while running routes. His ability to change direction with speed and shuffle his feet to make those small cuts was some of the best skill I saw in the camp. During 1v1s, he had no problem creating separation with his route running and elusiveness. Washington is one I will be following closely and could be a weapon the Cheiftains have been needing.
