One of the best in the Dakotas doing it? The Brandon ValleyLynx, based just outside of South Dakota’s largest city, Sioux Falls. The Lynx brought multiple prospects in the Class of 2026 to the Augustana University Prospect Camp, and both displayed their talents quite well for their age. Take a look at a couple names you will want to remember once they hit the varsity ranks in South Dakota’s largest Division, 11AAA.
Dveyoun Bonwell-Witte | WR | Brandon Valley (SD)| 2026
When I got to watch Dveyoun for my first live evaluation on him a little over a week ago, I was blown away by his chiseled frame that was a legitimate 6’2 185 pound wide receiver. Got the opportunity to watch him in the early testing and in 1v1s. One of the biggest things I read into in determining what a college football prospect looks like is the word consistency. Dveyoun ran in the mid 4.7s consistently at the Augie prospect camp for his 40 yard dash, which to me are some insane numbers for a prospect that hasn’t entered high school yet. In 1v1s Dveyoun showed significant open hips when he needed to break on his routes and showed some solid hands to match his skillsets. I certainly did not see Dveyoun get flustered against much older defensive backs as he owned his craft in Sioux Falls against his competition. I also really liked this kid’s character for his age, and I am going to put the pen to paper and say it: Dveyoun will be the #1 overall prospect in the Dakotas 2026 Class when our rankings unleash in the next several months. Stay tuned for the waves this kid is going to make once he gets into high school.
Had a great time at augustana football camp @AugieFB thank you @CoachOJ_ for the great time and great advice pic.twitter.com/QErUG59RJx

Cohen Hartz | DL/OL | Brandon Valley (SD) | 2026
Cohen wasn’t the biggest kid on the defensive line at the Augie Prospect Camp, in fact he was the smallest, but that didn’t stop him for being a tough competitor in what he had with his 5’11 170 pound frame. You didn’t see him get flustered, you didn’t see him get overwhelmed, he was an owner of his development in Sioux Falls last Sunday and got better from start of camp to finish as I got to watch the progression on both ends. Cohen showed a lot of promise in 1v1s where he was able to use his finesse to get leverage with his solid pad level he showed off. This young man is going to develop, get bigger and stronger in the coming years, and has good wheels with his burst off the snap. You can tell he’s a workhorse and is going to work his tail off in the weight room, watching film, and on the field. Cohen is certainly one we will be tracking at Prep Redzone Dakotas as he steps into Brandon Valley High School in Brandon, South Dakota this year.
Thanks for a great 1st prospect camp today @AugieFB, @CoachOJ_ , @coachscholten, @SamScholten3. It was fun to go against some great competition pic.twitter.com/q8eI4IL10x
