Mason Wunderlich Mason Wunderlich 6'5" | 200 lbs | QB Evansville Mater Dei | 2023 State IN , 6’5, 212 pounds, 2023, Evansville North
Mason Wunderlich Mason Wunderlich 6'5" | 200 lbs | QB Evansville Mater Dei | 2023 State IN led the Evansville North offense with his great arm talent and pinpoint accuracy. Wunderlich throws a good deep ball. Wunderlich does well leading the receiver down the field and putting the right amount of touch on the ball. The same can be said for all of throws that he is asked to make. Typically operating from the pocket, Wunderlich can connect on throws to all parts of the field. He also shows the composure and instinct necessary to play the position. He sees the field very well and makes good reads. In 2021, Wunderlich completed 188 of 350 passes for 2,671 yards. He piled up 27 touchdown passes while only throwing 11 interceptions. While he is more of a pocket-passer, Wunderlich can run the ball effectively. This is evidenced by the fact that Wunderlich ran for seven touchdowns last year.
Caleb Ellspermann, 5’10, 2023, Evansville Memorial
Caleb Ellspermann is a mobile quarterback who can uses his arm and his legs to put pressure on the defense. Ellspermann can evade rushers, all the while, keeping his eyes down the field. Ellspermann can spot the open receiver and make a good delivery while on the move. Ellspermann is an accurate passer, and he protects the football. Last year, Ellspermann went 172/279 for 1,680 yards. He tossed 18 touchdown passes and seven interceptions. Ellspermann carried the ball on 48 occasions for 165 rushing yards and an additional four touchdowns.

Cameron Tilly Cameron Tilly 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Castle | 2023 State IN engineers the Castle offense, making difficult throws look simple. Tilly displays a good arm and the ability to drive the ball to the outside. An underthrown ball outside the numbers is a recipe for trouble for the offense. He can lead the receiver to the sideline with a well-placed throw. Tilly sees the field well and he surveys the defense before deciding where to go with the ball. Tilly is a pocket-passer by nature, but he has the ability to break the pocket and buy time. As a junior, Tilly completed 112 passes on 167 attempts. He threw for 1,716 passing yards and 20 touchdown passes. Tilly is outstanding at avoiding costly turnovers. He only threw three interceptions a season ago. Tilly added 115 rushing yards on 60 carries with half-a-dozen more touchdowns.
Ben Davies, 2024, Evansville Central
As a sophomore, Ben Davies flashed a lot of potential. Now, he will be looking to take the next step. Last season, Davies connected on 33 of his 82 pass attempts. On those 33 completions, Davies racked up 461 passing yards. Davies played in seven games last season for Evansville Central. In those seven games, he threw three touchdown passes and five interceptions. Ben Davies has a lot of upside. Keep an eye on what he accomplishes over the course of the next two years.
