Jordan Reyes | Prep Redzone Scout
Weir is a natural playmaker flashing excellent versatility and explosiveness at multiple positions. As a WR at 5’9” 155 lbs. he can create separation with speed alone or use his strong technical route running to create open throwing lanes. Possesses great quick twitch ability and natural fluidity in the hips to get in and out of his breaks as a route runner to break off defenders. Has the speed and open field elusiveness to score every time he touches the ball showing burst out of his cuts and quickly getting to top speed to breakaway from tacklers. He’s sure handed and does a good job using his body control to adjust to the ball in the air. Signed to Eastern Washington on Early Signing Day.

Weir is a well-known speedster who was already committed to Eastern Washington, but couldn’t wait to show out one more time in his high school helmet. He brought the confidence and energy in every bit of practice as he sets high expectations for himself on every play. He hauled in several important catches for the North and was an official’s interference away from the highlight play of the game with the aforementioned Worthy. He’s always one move away from being in space, where his wheels turn on like a switch. His quickness and balance gave every DB trouble last weekend. He’ll look to make an immediate impact on EWU and the rest of the Mountain West this fall.

The Eastern Washington commit is an explosive athlete with great positional versatility to be a playmaker on either side of the ball at the college level. Possesses great quick twitch ability and natural fluidity in the hips to get in and out of his breaks as a route runner and create separation. A home run threat every time he touches the ball using his lateral agility/elusiveness to cut around defenders and his top end speed to breakaway. Plus ball skills, he’s confident with his hands and shows he can snatch the ball out of the air and extend outside his framework. First offered by Eastern Washington in early August and committed shortly after.
