District 3S-8 Returning Running Back Analysis

There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. No other prep site brings you more prospects to check out than Prep Redzone Florida!         Jerrod Johnson- Auburndale High c/o 23 5'10 175lbs Johnson is a very talented back from Auburndale High, he already has division one offers from Eastern Kentucky, USF, and Incarnate Word. Last season he helped lead Auburndale to a 9-1 record and rushed for 705 yards, averaged eight yards per carry, and 13 rushing touchdowns. He also added six catches for 111 yards. Special back who has high-end lateral agility, burst and vision, smooth runner that shows good balance and can run with power when asked and drop his shoulder and run through tackles. Last season he led the team in rushing with 240 yards and a touchdown on the ground and also chipped in with nine catches for 99 yards. Has the ability to be a three-down back and be an effective weapon in the passing game. He led Lake Region in rushing last season with 506 yards, averaged five yards per carry with two rushing touchdowns. Wilson is a power back and runs with good balance and has surprising nimble feet for a player his size. The rising senior finished third on the team last season with 395 yards rushing, and outstanding nine yards per carry and 4 rushing touchdowns. He's outstanding in the passing game and registered 29 catches for 457 yards and four touchdowns. Multifaceted player that can beat you in a number of ways lining up in the backfield or splitting out into the slot, shows natural hands and is a slippery route runner, has feel for the running game and is quick to the hole.
