Deep dive into the uncommitted 2022 OL prospects after an unprecedented recruiting cycle affected by covid, the transfer portal, and an extra year of collegiate eligibility. [player_tooltip player_id="210151" first="Aiden" last="Simonton"], O’Connor A lot to like about Simonton’s physical skillset with his combination of size, length, and mobility at 6’5” 270 lbs. Possesses a well-balanced build with solid growth potential as he continues to develop and mature. Good athleticism and feet on the field relative to his size showing he can be effective working to the second level, pulling, and blocking in space. High motor guy that’s tough/aggressive and will fight through the whistle. Strong technique, footwork, and overall fundamentals. Holds offers from Lake Forest, Concordia, St. Mary, Morehead State, and Minot State. Also a high academic prospect with a 4.22 GPA. https://twitter.com/aiden_simonton/status/1465176992978911234?s=20&t=JYo_7pYP37qoN0Y3F8GvDw [player_tooltip player_id="100652" first="Cooper" last="Stevens"], Highland At 6’5” 265 lbs. Stevens has the size, athleticism, and natural strength to play at the D1 level. He’s equally effective in his pass set as he is in the run game. He explodes off the ball with good initial quickness and brings strong contact to the POA using good leverage and pad level. He accelerates his feet on contact and shows he can finish his blocks and overpower defenders with great lower body strength. Functional athleticism allows him to get to the perimeter and sustain his blocks in space with active feet. He was a key piece to the strong offensive line that led Highland to a state championship and was rewarded with a first team all-state selection. Currently holds preferred walk-on opportunities from Arizona and Arizona State. https://twitter.com/cooperstevens55/status/1483579812983623680?s=20&t=JYo_7pYP37qoN0Y3F8GvDw [player_tooltip player_id="162044" first="Mack" last="Taylor"], Queen Creek Taylor possesses a wide skillset that has the ability to play both sides of the line and long snap. Projects as an offensive lineman at the college level where he can use his big 6’5” 260 lb. frame and natural strength/power to control the LOS. He’s well-built with room to add weight as he develops without losing his mobility and bend. He shows active feet and plus lateral agility to maintain positioning and match opponent’s movement. Good hand usage and placement, he’s strong in the upper body allowing him to latch on and sustain without getting his hands knocked down. Great balance and control at the contact point. High academic prospect that has a handful of offers to pick from including Benedictine, Rose-Hulman, Luther, South Dakota Schools of Mines, Willamette, and several others. https://twitter.com/bigMackTaylor60/status/1495127139472920576?s=20&t=JYo_7pYP37qoN0Y3F8GvDw [player_tooltip player_id="155810" first="Tony" last="Servin"], Centennial After a tough road of injuries, covid, and transfers Servin was finally able to play a full season and showcase his ability as a senior at Centennial. At 6’4” 320 lbs. he possesses a massive frame with brute strength and raw power to overwhelm opponents. For his size, he shows decent short area footwork and leg drive through contact to dominate the LOS. He’s a finisher by nature but can control defenders with his hand strength alone in both his pass set and as a road grader in the run game. His size makes him difficult to work around laterally but his strength allows him to anchor and shut down an oncoming inside rush. Has collected 16 offers since the start of the season including Arizona Christian, Dakota State, Mayville State, Western New Mexico, and more. https://twitter.com/TonyServin14/status/1445764441983705095?s=20&t=JYo_7pYP37qoN0Y3F8GvDw [player_tooltip player_id="161974" first="Oliver" last="O’Campo"], Centennial Ocampo is a true mauler in the trenches at 6’4” 310 lbs. He’s a competitor that is tough and aggressive at the POA showing good all-around natural strength with a powerful initial punch to knock opponents off balance at the snap. He’s got active hands to quickly move defenders inside the box and clear a path in the run game. Flashes good balance and patience in his pass set with a good ability to wash defenders out of the pocket. He was a dominate force on the Centennial line playing both guard and tackle. Currently has six offers to choose from including Arizona Christian, South Dakota State, Ottawa, Western New Mexico, and Wisconsin-River Falls. https://twitter.com/OliverOJOcampo1/status/1416212472760000515?s=20&t=JYo_7pYP37qoN0Y3F8GvDw [player_tooltip player_id="100709" first="Cole" last="Germinaro"], Pinnacle Germinaro is a versatile line prospect at 6’4” 250 lbs. that operated mainly as a guard but also showed some ability as a tackle during the 2021 season. He’s a technician with his fundamentals while also being a plus athlete that moves his feet and can get to the second level/perimeter. Plays with a strong wide base and quick active hands to latch on and sustain his blocks through the whistle. Good natural strength for his size, he’s heavy handed and flashes a powerful initial punch at the POA. Shows he can see/adjust to different defensive fronts while also reacting to stunts and blitzes. Surprised he isn’t already an offer prospect given his skillset and ability to play at the next level. https://twitter.com/CoachGerm/status/1468653318138306561?s=20&t=f92He1kd32rBrFdr-yj7ng More Best Available OL Prospects: Louis Cheno, Sierra Linda Offers: Bethan, Clarke, Mayville State, Ottawa Mike Doman, Gila Ridge Offers: Culver-Stockton, Dakota State, Mayville State, McPherson, Ottawa, St. Norbert Ben Evans, Marana Offers: McPherson, Ottawa, Simpson, St. Olaf, Western New Mexico [player_tooltip player_id="162061" first="Andrew" last="Hinojos"], Campo Verde Offers: Concordia, Linfield, Nebraska Wesleyan, Puget Sound, Simpson, St. Norbert, Wisconsin-River Falls Gavin McEwen, Desert Ridge Offers: Adams State, Western New Mexico [player_tooltip player_id="42836" first="Fabian" last="Pina"], Sierra Linda Offers: Black Hills State, Mayville State, Rocky Mountain, Southwest Baptist Jose Roman, Desert View Offers: Arizona Christian, Bethany, Clarke, Concordia, Culver-Stockton, Ottawa Isayah Romero, Deer Valley Offers: Benedictine, Bethany, Dakota State, McPherson, Ottawa, Simpson
