Class of ’26 Prospect Duquane Prevo Picks Up Mizzou Offer
Less than a week ago, we featured 2026 Texas prospect Duquane Prevo in our weekly “Al Pops Trail Mix” article. This past weekend, what was evident on film to us, was evident to the University of Missouri. They became the first school to pull the trigger and offer the eighth grader a scholarship offer.
As mentioned in the Tail Mix article, Prevo is a unique athlete who took snaps this year as a quarterback but translates to more of an athlete long term. The 5-foot-10, 160-pounder has a unique combination of size and speed at this point and has proven to be one of the most exciting prospects in the country.
Despite being in the midst of basketball season, Prevo is starting to see his football recruitment heat up. The eighth grader, who can already dunk a regulation ball on a regulation rim, is also reportedtly hearing from Arkansas and Arkansas State as well.
Per his Twitter account, The Mizzou offer came after a conversation with coach Curtis Looper. Looper currently serves as the Running Back coach for the Tigers and is a very seasoned coach with over 25 years of experience.
