Continue ReadingAs we’ve written about a lot recently, the state of Georgia is absolutely loaded with young talent, and there are lots of prospects in the 2025 class who are making noise after a successful freshman season. Players are getting bigger, faster, and stronger each year, and there’s a chance the 2025 class will be one of the deepest classes the peach state has seen in years.
Here are some impressive 2025 players to know about who picked up offers this week…
Peyton Joseph – Offensive Line – Peach County
The Peach County Trojans are no strangers to pumping out big-time offensive line prospects and Joseph is the next major bully to come through. Already a reliable, powerful, physical prospect as a freshman, Joseph was very impressive last year and appears to have a very promising future. Already around the 6-foot-3 280-pound mark, Joseph looks like an upperclassmen already and really played well at multiple positions. He moves well in run blocking as a guard and does a great job of playing through the whistle. He plays physical and comes from a winning program that breeds toughness. He’s a great looking prospect early on and it’s easy to see D1 potential. The offers are starting to roll in for the young freshman and the first two came from Colorado and Buffalo.

Jaylen Bell – Grayson
Don’t look now, but the Grayson Rams are in re-building mode, and they have one of the state’s young defensive backs already making plays as a freshman.. The talented athlete is still looking for a future position to call home as he can make plays both on offense as a receiver and on defense as a defensive back. Many project the 5-foot-11 150-pounder to play cornerback due to his current size, quickness, and overall athleticism. He already holds three D1 offers including ones from Georgia, Florida State, and Ole Miss. If he’s able to see the field a ton as a freshman for a program like Grayson, the sky is the limit for his potential over the next few years. He’s a young freshman to know in 7A who recently earned new offers from South Carolina, Colorado and Purdue.

Josiah Abdullah – ATH – Woodward Academy
One of the top young playmakers across the state, the Atlanta native is a big-play waiting to happen and is one of the more dangerous players in the area with the ball in his hands. The 5-foot-11 170-pounder showed off impressive quickness, ball skills, hands, and body control all season and did it again in the Georgia Elite Classic game in late December. He runs great routes for his age and has a knack for creating separation from the defensive backs. He’s got good size already, and he’ll be able to make some plays if given an opportunity this fall. He’ll be a prospect to keep a close eye on for the future and is already to starting to see some offers come his way. Abdullah earned offers this week from Louisville, Missouri, Coastal Carolina, Kentucky, among others.

Elijah Griffin – DE – Savannah Christian
One of the top overall defenders in South Georgia, Griffin had an exceptional freshman season and already looks like a major D! prospect. He has incredible size for his class at 6-foot-6 280-pounds and can overpower older offensive linemen with ease. His length and raw strength allow him to get off blocks and he does a great job of closing on the QB. He runs well with his size and he already knows how to deliver a big hit. Watching him play, you’d never know he was just a freshman, but he is. He’s totaled over 69 tackles and made 8 TFLs to go along with 3.5 sacks. He’s a prospect to keep a close eye on over the next few years and he recently earned an SEC offer from Kentucky and an ACC offer from Louisville.
