I am continuing the review of some of the top players in the Class of 2024. The next group up for review are the offensive linemen. The four players listed lead the offensive linemen group.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="120038" first="Tyler" last="Clark"], G, 6’3" 260, (No. 1 OL, No. 16 Overall), Jordan HS</strong>. Tyler is a talented young lineman who started as a freshman. He displayed good technique and footwork as he makes contact with defenders. Tyler excels at drive-blocking where he utilizes his strength and quickness to drive defenders downfield and out of the play. Tyler is a two-time All-Conference performer and was selected All-Conference as an offensive and defensive lineman during his second season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="130399" first="Aaron" last="Hollis"], T, 6’1" 225, (No. 2 OL, No. 22 Overall), Enloe HS</strong>. Aaron displays good technique and footwork to control defenders. He moves well in tight spaces to quickly lock-up defenders and drive them downfield and out of the play. He is expected to improve his skillset with off-season training and participation in Summer Prospect Camps. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="265573" first="Joseph" last="(Tre) Johnson III"], T, 5’10" 260, (No. 3 OL, Watchlist), South Central HS</strong>. Joseph displays good technique and footwork to quickly make contact with defenders and drive-block them downfield and out of the play. He is quick and covers a lot of ground quickly. [player_tooltip player_id="265573" first="Joseph" last="(Tre) Johnson III"] is expected to continue to improve his skillset with off-season training and participation in Summer Prospect Camps.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="148314" first="Kendyn" last="Smith"], G, 6’1" 220, (No. 4 OL, Watchlist), Mooresville HS</strong>. Kendyn is quick out of his stance to make contact with defenders. He uses technique and quickness to drive-block defenders downfield and out of the play. He moves well in tight spaces while opening lanes for the running backs. [player_tooltip player_id="148314" first="Kendyn" last="Smith"] is expected to continue to improve his skillset with off-season training and participation in Summer Prospect Camps. The recruitment is expected to start as he gains weight in preparation for the Fall Season.
