The list of linebackers for the Class of 2024 will likely grow but these 10 players have stood out the most. This list will likely continue to grow. Some of the players on the list also have a chance to move well up the list the next time it is updated.

Fuller should turn into one of the best linebackers in the state, but he also can put his hand on the ground and make plays from defensive end as well. Well build frame with the potential to get quicker. High motor that never gives up on a play.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="208366" first="Terry" last="Grant"]</strong>, West Ashley
Another player that has the ability to play on the line of scrimmage. Reads plays well and sheds blockers with ease. Could end up being an edge rusher but can also play in space. Used as a blocker on offense as well. Grant does not shy away from being physical.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="139299" first="Jordan" last="Boyd"]</strong>, Silver Bluff
Boyd saw plenty of playing time for the Class 2A runners-up Silver Bluff. He finished 27 solo tackles, 14 assists, eight tackles for loss, and 3 three sacks. Big frame at 6-3 that moves well in space and is able to mix it up in the line of scrimmage.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="140607" first="Kayden" last="Gaddist"]</strong>, Hanahan
Gaddist is not as tall as the rest of the players on this list but plays like a true middle linebacker. He’s physical at the point of attack and plays downhill. He arrives at the ball-carrier with an aggression that is needed to excel.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="208337" first="Jeremiah" last="Curry"]</strong>, Bluffton
Curry has the speed and athleticism to play in space but also can be physical at the line of scrimmage. He goes sideline-to-sideline with ease. If he adds another 15-20 pounds before next season, he could shoot up the recruiting boards.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="267456" first="Harrison" last="Jeffries"]</strong>, Powdersville
Jeffries had an outstanding 2021 season. He finished with 91 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, four sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles. Reads plays well. Can move to the line of scrimmage if needed but is better suited at an outside linebacker spot.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="208345" first="Jordan" last="Vancise"]</strong>, Loris
Vancise has a quick first step. He recorded 23 solo tackles, 17 assists, six tackles for loss, and one sack last season. Moves well and is physical at the point of attack. He has a compact frame that allows him to play inside or outside.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="267459" first="Ricky" last="Escobar"]</strong>, Myrtle Beach
Escobar finished with 74 tackles, six tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and a forced fumble. He does well in coverage as well. He’s quick to make a read and gets to the point of attack quickly.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="267461" first="Ben" last="Thompson"]</strong>, Green Sea Floyds
Thompson fits well on the inside and is not afraid to attack the line of scrimmage. He has a frame that could grow into a dominating physical presence in the middle.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="227804" first="Jaidyn" last="Penix"]</strong>, Summerville
Penix plays on the outside and does well in space. He can cover slot receivers but also has a quick first step in making plays in the backfield. He also can be an edge rusher in certain situations.
