At camps, Donnell is going to show off his strong athletic traits. He is a twitchy athlete with great short area burst and the long speed to be able to cover man to man deep downfield. French also shows good technique in those downfield situations. He stays in his man’s hip pocket, leans and looks for the ball, and times his hands well to break up the pass or pick it off. His loose hips and change of direction will also standout in coverage drills. When coaches go back to the tape they will also see how great of a tackler the DB is. He offers a very well rounded game.
