The Offensive line is the most important part of an offense. Without it it cannot function, if the line fails the QB has no time to throw, The RBs wont have any holes to go through and the WRs and TEs won’t be able to get to their routes on time. They are the nervous system of the offense that i why these players are so important to the sport and their teams. At the Stock Up Showcase for Iowa and Nebraska players we had a ton of Lineman who flipped from DL and Ol and played both positions very well. Cline in an animal he is very fast for his size but he can get around. He ran a 5.17 40 yard dash. He als had an great shuttle number at 5.22. He showed off that he can sustain his block and dig in. though he might be smaller on the weight size his height helps him get leverage on his opponents he can really dig his heels in. He is a lot lighter but i believe that is an advantage he can exploit.

Ryan is a beast and an absolute unit, McDonough’s form is perfect along his legs are apart and his hands up using his strength as a weapon to his advantage. He had a 5.70 40 yard dash along with a 4.99 shuttle drill. He knows his position well and I could tell that by watching him and watching footage of him. He is the definition of a lineman.

Barrett does not quit on any play, doesn’t matter if he is on the offense or defense he will play and block till the play ends. He had a 5.45 second 40 yard dash along with a 4.78 second shuffle drill. He went up against plenty of tough opponents at the Stock Up Showcase. It was very impressive with how when he blocks he changed up and makes sure the defensive player is nowhere near the ball.

JR is known for all his work and play on the defense but I think that also makes him just as good on the offensive line. He knows the formations and shifts and like the others in this article. JR had a great day with the drills with a 5.16 40 yard dash and a 4.78 shuffle drill. This guy is an athlete and i think he can be one of those jack of all trades he can be put anywhere on the line and succeed.
