Central Ohio 2023’s to Watch – Volume 6

Central Ohio had a very good 2021 campaign in terms of talent.  Heading into the off season I will detail the top players to keep an eye on. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Pickerington Central</strong></span> #5<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="173935" first="Braden" last="Mantooth"]</strong> QB (2023) -  He is tall, athletic, and has a big time arm.  Can sling it all over the field and makes the tough throws look easy.  Accuracy is his best attribute and he does a great job of throwing receivers open.  Equally as skilled at running the football with good twitch in the open field. #10 <strong>Kasey Middendorf</strong> WR (2023) - This junior showed that the 2023 class at Pick Central is strong as well.  He runs good routes and separates when called upon.  Kasey is good in the open field at breaking tackles.  He attacks the ball and bursts.  Good blocker on the perimeter and has a good motor. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Westerville North</strong></span> #37 <strong>Carson Bopp</strong> OLB - This 2023 is a very good football player.  He is athletic on the edge and does a good job of setting the force.  Good blitzer with pass rush technique to get to the QB.  He covers space well in the pass game and makes good open field tackles.
